I intertwined my fingers with Jungwon's and pulled him into the mansion. It was Ara's one of the places here in USA and since she owned multiple houses, I could stay whenever I wanted. Our families were close. Security guards recognized me and opened the gates in a second.
"Come." I grinned and Jungwon chuckled, throwing an arm around my shoulder as he kissed the top of my head. "Hey, we're not dating. No need to be lovey dovey."
"Shut up." Jungwon kissed my lips just as we entered the living room. "You're still the annoying girl I remember you to be. So so stubborn."
"And, still you came to like my annoying ass. Pathetic."
He narrowed his eyes. "I hate you."
"You like me. Stop lying." I kissed his cheek. "Since when though. I was going through the articles, apparently you stared in my way quiet a lot of times over the years."
Jungwon hummed as he held me by waist, his nose brushed against mine. "I did. I used to look at your face because it was bizzare seeing you smiling while you're like a cat out to kill me behind the scenes."
"Oh yeah?" I placed my hands on his shoulders. "Were you not mesmerized by my annoying ass?"
He bit back a smile and looked away. "Are you trying to act cute?" He asked. My cheeks heated up as I pushed him and turned away but he lifted me in his arms from behind as I grumbled. Jungwon sat on the couch with my back against his front and locked his hands around my waist. "I'm liking this updated version."
"You're annoying." I flicked his forehead.
"Only for you." He played with my ponytail and tugged a little.
"I'm honoured." I watched him watching me, and I knew I loved being here, him staring at me with stars in his eyes. I wished he would never stop looking at me that way. "Were you whipped? Can't imagine you glaring and then going out of the way to stare at me in front of millions. You're something, Yang Jungwon."
I had wanted this guy to look at me like he was looking at me at that moment ever since I had found the meaning of crush. He was my perfect guy. For as long as I could have him. "Did you eat? I can cook something for you?"
"It might be the last time we're meeting, so I won't say no." He sighed, and my smile fell. "Chayoung... Let's be real. Mine and your world is different, and we're not dating. After this, your group will be more active than ours and.. we can't meet. I can't take that kind of risk. Not again."
"I know," I murmured, and stood up, caressing away the imaginary dust from my shirt. "Go, and freshen up." I forced out a smile. He went upstairs as I fixed something quick for us.
I knew what Jungwon was trying to do. He liked me. He confessed it, but all I've done was give him a reality check. He was protecting himself and there was nothing false in his statement. We really were nothing. I lowered my head, biting my lips but frowned when saw a polaroid sneaking from the drawer.
