[⚒️] A Virtual Love Story ( Part 1)

You was a lonely student who had no friends at university. You was bullied and shunned by your classmates for being different and quiet. Your parents didn't care about you either. They only cared about their work and money. They never gave you any love or support.

One day, you came home from school and found your parents waiting for you in the living room. They looked angry and disappointed.

"Y/N, we have something to tell you," your father said coldly.

"What is it?" You asked nervously.

"We've decided to kick you out of the house," your mother said bluntly.

"What? Why?" You exclaimed in shock.

"Because you're a failure and a burden to us," your father said harshly. "You have no future, no ambition, no talent. You're wasting our money and time. We don't want you here anymore."

"But where will I go?" You asked desperately.

"That's not our problem," your mother said cruelly. "You can go anywhere you want, as long as it's not here. Pack your things and leave by tomorrow morning."

You felt a surge of pain and anger in your chest. You couldn't believe your parents would do this to you. You had nowhere to go, no one to turn to. You felt like your life was over.

You ran to your room and started packing your few belongings. You didn't have much: some clothes, some books, some gadgets, and a laptop. You also had a pair of headphones and a VR headset that you used to escape from reality.

You loved watching virtual idols on the internet, especially AZKi, the virtual diva of hololive . She was your favorite singer and streamer. She had a beautiful voice, a cute face, and a charming personality. She always made you happy with her songs and her smiles.

You had a crush on AZKi ever since you saw her debut video on YouTube. You followed her on every social media platform and watched every stream she did. You was one of her loyal fans, or pioneers as she called them.

You wished you could meet her in real life, but you knew that was impossible. She was a virtual idol who lived in a different world than you. She probably didn't even know you existed.

But what you didn't know was that AZKi did know you. In fact, she knew you very well.

She was your neighbor.

AZKi lived next door to your house with her family. She was also a student at the same university as you, but she kept her identity secret from everyone. She wore glasses, a wig, and a mask whenever she went outside. She also used a voice changer when she spoke to anyone other than her family or her manager.

She did this to protect herself from unwanted attention and harassment. She wanted to live a normal life as much as possible, while pursuing her dream of being a virtual singer.

She also did this because she had a crush on you.

She had noticed you ever since they moved in next door to each other two years ago. She thought you was cute and kind. She liked how you always helped her with her groceries or held the door for her when they met in the hallway.

She also felt sorry for you when she saw how you was treated by your parents and your classmates. She wanted to comfort you and make you happy.

She tried to talk to you several times, but you always seemed shy and nervous around her. You never looked at her in the eyes or smiled at her. You always thanked her politely and walked away quickly.

She wondered if you hated her or if you was just too scared to talk to her.

She decided to watch you from afar and learn more about you. She hacked into your laptop and phone and accessed your browsing history and social media accounts.

She was surprised and delighted when she discovered that he was a fan of hers. You watched all of her videos and streams and commented on them with love and admiration.

She felt a warm feeling in her heart when she read your messages. She wanted to reply to you and tell you how she felt, but she couldn't.

She was afraid that you would reject her or hate her if you found out who she really was.

She decided to keep it a secret for now and wait for the right moment to reveal herself to you.

She hoped that one day, you would love her back.

That day came sooner than she expected.

The next morning, she saw you leaving your house with a backpack and a suitcase. You looked sad and lost.

She wondered what was going on.

She followed you discreetly and saw you walking to the bus stop. She overheard you talking to someone on the phone

"Hey, it's me, Y?N. Listen, I need a favor. Can I stay at your place for a while? My parents kicked me out of the house and I have nowhere to go."

"What? Why did they do that?"

"They said I'm a failure and a burden to them. They don't want me anymore."

"That's horrible! I'm so sorry, Y/N. Of course you can stay with me. Where are you now?"

"I'm at the bus stop near my house. I'll take the next bus to your place."

"Okay, I'll wait for you. Don't worry, everything will be okay."

"Thanks, man. You're a good friend."

Phi hung up the phone and sighed.

AZKi felt a surge of anger and sadness in her chest. She couldn't believe your parents would do this to you. They were so cruel and heartless.

She wanted to hug  and tell you that you was not alone. That you had someone who cared about you.

That you had her.

She made up her mind.

She ran up to you and tapped you on the shoulder.

You turned around and saw her.

You recognized her as your neighbor, but you didn't know her name.

You wondered what she wanted from you.

"Hi, Y/N," she said with a smile.

"Hi," you said awkwardly.

"I'm sorry to bother you, but I have something to tell you," she said nervously.

"What is it?" you asked curiously.

She took a deep breath and said:

"I'm AZKi."
