Calli didn't want to let go of your body. She wanted to stay with you forever. But she knew she had to do her duty as a reaper. She had to take your soul to the underworld.

She kissed you one last time and whispered in your ear.

"I'll see you soon, my love."

She closed your eyes and took out her scythe. She cut your soul from your body and wrapped it in a cloak. She opened a portal to the underworld and stepped inside with you.

She arrived at the gates of hell, where her boss, Death-sensei, was waiting for her.

"Ah, Calliope-chan. You're late." Death-sensei said with a stern voice.

"I'm sorry, sensei. I had some...complications." Calli said with a trembling voice.

"I see. And who is that you're carrying?" Death-sensei asked with a curious eye.

"This is...this is Y/N." Calli said with a choked voice.

"Y/N? Who is Y/N?" Death-sensei asked with a puzzled look.

"He's...he's my lover." Calli said with a defiant tone.

"Your lover? A human? A mortal?" Death-sensei asked with a shocked expression.

"Yes." Calli said with a firm nod.

Death-sensei frowned and shook his head.

"You know the rules, Calliope-chan. You can't fall in love with a human. You can't interfere with their fate. You can't bring them back to life. You have to let them go." Death-sensei said.

"No, I can't. I won't. I love him. He loves me. We belong together. Please, sensei, please let me have him. Please let me save him." Calli pleaded.

"Calliope-chan, you're being foolish. You're being selfish. You're being reckless. You're risking your job, your reputation, your life. You're going against the natural order of things. You're breaking the balance of life and death. You're playing with fire." Death-sensei warned.

"I don't care. I don't care about anything but him. He's my everything. He's my reason to live. He's my fire." Calli declared.

Death-sensei sighed and shook his head.

"Calliope-chan, you're making a big mistake. A mistake that you'll regret for eternity. A mistake that will cost you dearly. A mistake that will end in tragedy." Death-sensei said.

"I don't care. I'm willing to pay any price for him. I'm willing to face any consequence for him. I'm willing to die for him." Calli said.

Death-sensei looked at her with a mix of pity and anger.

"Very well, Calliope-chan. If you're so determined to have him, then I'll give you a chance. A chance to prove your love for him. A chance to win him back." Death-sensei said.

"Really? You will?" Calli said with hope in her eyes.

"Yes, I will. But it won't be easy. It won't be fair. It won't be fun." Death-sensei said with a smirk on his face.

"What do you mean?" Calli asked with fear in her voice.

"I mean, you'll have to challenge me to a rap battle." Death-sensei said with a grin on his face.

Calli was stunned by Death-sensei's challenge. She didn't expect him to propose such a thing. She didn't know if he was serious or joking. She didn't know if he was testing her or mocking her.

"A rap battle? You want me to rap battle you?" Calli asked with disbelief.

"Yes, a rap battle. You know what that is, right? You're a rapper, after all." Death-sensei said with sarcasm.

"Of course I know what that is. But why? Why a rap battle?" Calli asked with confusion.

"Because it's fun. Because it's fair. Because it's fitting." Death-sensei said with amusement.

"Fun? Fair? Fitting? How?" Calli asked with frustration.

"Fun, because I enjoy a good rap battle. Fair, because we both have the same skill. Fitting, because rap is the language of the soul." Death-sensei said with conviction.

"Language of the soul? What does that mean?" Calli asked with curiosity.

"It means that rap is the way to express your true self. Your thoughts, your feelings, your desires, your fears. Your hopes, your dreams, your regrets, your pains. Your love, your hate, your joy, your sorrow. Your soul." Death-sensei said with passion.

"I see. And what does that have to do with Y/N?" Calli asked with impatience.

"It has everything to do with him. He's your soulmate, right? He's the one you love more than anything, right? He's the one you want to bring back to life, right?" Death-sensei said with intensity.

"Yes, yes, yes!" Calli said with urgency.

"Then you have to prove it. You have to prove that you love him more than anything. You have to prove that you want him more than anything. You have to prove that you deserve him more than anything." Death-sensei said with authority.

"How? How do I prove it?" Calli asked with anxiety.

"By rapping. By rapping your heart out. By rapping your soul out. By rapping better than me." Death-sensei said with challenge.

"And if I do? If I rap better than you?" Calli asked with hope.

"Then I'll let you have him. I'll let you bring him back to life. I'll let you be with him forever." Death-sensei said with promise.

"Really? You will?" Calli asked with excitement.

"Yes, I will." Death-sensei said with honesty.

"But if I don't? If I rap worse than you?" Calli asked with dread.

"Then you'll lose him. You'll lose him forever. You'll never see him again. You'll never be with him again." Death-sensei said with cruelty.

"No...no..." Calli said with horror.

"So, do you accept my challenge? Do you accept my terms?" Death-sensei asked with pressure.

Calli hesitated for a moment. She was scared of losing Y/N forever. She was scared of failing him and herself. She was scared of facing Death-sensei and his rap skills.

But she was also determined to win you back. She was determined to save you and herself. She was determined to face Death-sensei and his rap skills.

She looked at your soul in her arms. She felt your warmth and your love. She heard your voice and your words.

"I love you too, Y/N."

She looked at Death-sensei in his eyes. She felt his power and his malice. She heard his voice and his words.

"I'll see you soon, my love."

She made up her mind. She clenched her fists and gritted her teeth.

She nodded her head and said:

"I accept."
