War planning. Grouchy, petty Lords. Short tempers and creepy Bran. Daenerys and Sansa finally sit down together before a steamy ending.

A/N: Okay. Disclaimer. I've spent days. DAYS reading why the Battle of Winterfell was so shit and other articles/forums giving strategies. I'm still sure I'll be wrong with my ideas. I'm a lover, not a fighter. But I always try my best!

Anyway, part two of the last chapter, as promised! Thank you for reading ❤️

"We were crazy to think
Crazy to think that this could work
Remember how I said I'd die for you?

We were stupid to jump
In the ocean separating us
Remember how I'd fly to you?

They all warned us about times like this
They say the road gets hard and you get lost when you're led by blind faith
Blind faith

But we might just get away with it
Religion's in your lips
Even if it's a false god
We'd still worship
We might just get away with it
The altar is my hips
Even if it's a false god
We'd still worship this love

I know heaven's a thing
I go there when you touch me
Honey, hell is when I fight with you

But we can patch it up good
Make confessions and we're begging for forgiveness
Got the wine for you"

Daenerys

It was both a short and long time before she gathered the mental strength to pull herself together and follow Jon to the war council meeting. They had attempted to hold one the day before. Her distraction and Jon's conspicuous absence meant not much had been done. Jaime Lannister was prepared to lead the charge but muttered curses and lethal looks had kept him quiet. Tyrion's loquaciousness hadn't saved them either, and she'd called an end to it before it could devolve into a squabble with her at the center. She and Jon were the picture of regal poise as they entered the room and found everyone waiting for them.

Arya smirked at them, a laugh in her silver eyes as Jon gave her a pointed look. Sansa hovered at the end of the large oak table covered by a map of the North and the sigils brought from Dragonstone and the ones the North held. Greyworm and Qhono stood on either side of Missandei, who looked at ease despite the side-eyed looks she was getting for the Hand of the Queen pin on her chest. Davos was quick to glare at anyone he noticed doing it, and Daenerys had to suppress a smile as she and Jon took their places behind the table. She looked around at them all, a comical mix of people that would have been funny any other time.
