Chapter 22

"That movie was so scary." Kat said hugging the popcorn bucket as they walked out the doors of the theater. "Who's idea was it to go see a scary movie anyway?" Calum asked. "Luke's because he's Satan." Max said throwing popcorn at Luke. "Look just because I didn't get scared like some people doesn't mean I'm Satan."
"If you want to know who was the biggest scaredy cat it was most definitely Jazlyn. She held onto me like her life depended on it."

Jazlyn shoved Ashton, "I said I wasn't good with scary movies, what did you really expect."

"Not to get my arm almost torn off." Ashton said throwing popcorn at everyone.
"My nominee for biggest scaredy cat goes to Michael." Luke said laughing.
"What, how, I haven't even said anything."

"Exactly but I'm pretty sure we all heard you crying." Calum stayed laughing.
"Whatever man." Michael said putting a pile of popcorn into claims perfect quif.
"Quit it with the popcorn guys you're making a mess." Max said scolding them all.

"So anyone down to get something to eat? I'll buy." Jazlyn said waving her debit card in the air.

"Free food? I'm in." Kat said locking arms with Jazlyn. "I'm pretty sure everyone's in." Calum said.

"Well to Chillis we go." Michael said running towards the door. Everyone laughed. Kat was so surprised to see Everyone having a good time considering how tense it's been lately it's like everyone was at peace.

Everyone went back to the vehicles they arived in and made their way towards Chillis.

"So have you changed your mind about Jazlyn?" Kat asked Max as she made a right hand turn.
"What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean, you've had such a bad attitude towards her." Kat said checking her nails, a bad habit of hers. "I mean I guess she's okay but I still don't trust her like that."

Kat playfully rolled her eyes. She couldn't help but think that the whole reason that she didn't like Jazlyn was due to jealousy but she just brushed it off.

When they finally arrived at in the parking lot they were the last ones to arrive.

"You drive like a grandma babe." Calum laughed at Max. "Shut up I don't drive like a grandma I drive defensively."
They all entered the resturant and say down at a booth. "So Jazlyn what's the whole deal with your sister why does she seem to be so evil." Luke asked bluntly as always. "I mean no offense but she's just so mean and you're like the total opposite."

Jazlyn too a sip of her water and let out a slight laugh. " okay first off, you all keep calling me Jazlyn, just call me Jazz it's shorter. And secondly don't take it personal she's evil to everyone even me I guess she was just born that way." Jazlyn shrugged. There wasn't much more she could say about it after all she was her sister. "Evil is not the word no offense but your sister is a bitch." Max said stirring the ice in her water.

"No offense taken I can't deny that." Jazlyn laughed.

"Well we can all agree with one thing, If Jazlyn keeps buying us food she can hang out with up all she wants." Michael said flipping through the menu.
"I mean I don't know about that but it is fun hanging out with you guys." Jazlyn smiled.

They all talked while their food. They were actually having a nice time with each other.

"Well when you said you were hanging out with friends I didn't think you meant...them." Everyone turned to see Cherish. "What do you want Cherish?" Jazlyn looked nervous and annoyed at the same time.
"Why do I have to want something I saw your car, I was across the street at Starbucks I just figured I'd come say hello." Cherish looked like she juged them with everylook. Which she probably was.

"Well I have other, better things to attend to. So I guess I'll see you around."

"What I'm not understanding is if you had other better things to attend to then why did you come here but anyway see you at home sis." Jazlyn said smiling politely.

"Oh I was just making sure you weren't here maxing out your card since mom and dad recently cut you off but I see now it's a little too late for that huh?" Cherish picked up the receipt off the table and dropped it on the floor. "But anyway see you around... You people." Cherish said walking away.

A moment of silence passed before Someone decided to say anything. "So um, what was she talking about the whole getting cut off thing." Ashton said playing with his food. "That is if you don't mind telling us."

"I mean it wasn't anything serious just one day I over spent but I had a good reason but I really don't want to talk about it." Jazlyn said looking down at her food.
"But I really should get going. Enjoy the rest of your night guys we should do this again sometime soon this was fun.. Jazlyn looked a lot less enthusiastic than she had been the whole day. The others watched as she walked away towards the exit. "I wonder what that was all about." Max said quietly."
"Guess its just not our buisness to wonder about." Luke stated bluntly.
