Finally winter break I can go home and see my friends and family although I would love to spend break here in L.A but I think it would be fun to get away from here for a little bit.

I heard the doorbell ring and I run downstairs. "Mom I'll be back in a little bit bye!"

"Well isn't someone happy today." Ashton says looking at me with his famous goofy smile. "what, I'm just happy to spend some time with my friends before I leave tomorrow."

"Where ya going?"

"To London to visit my family I'm very excited." I got in the front seat of Ashton's car.

"You know you have a very nice car ash."

"I try."

Ashton and I laughed and talked for alittle while. "so where are we going anyway?"

"Well first we're going to eat then we're going to play laser tag."

"please tell me we doesn't include Mr negative."

Ashton rolled his eyes and laughed.

"what?"

"Luke always comes you know that and what is it that you have against him anyway you guys used to get along fine."

"well that was before he started acting all douchey. I mean one day he's nice and the next its like a whole different person it gets frustrating."

" well that's Luke for you but you shouldn't get all worked up about it you've only know each other for what three, four months it takes him awhile to get used to new people."

" I suppose but Luke sassy pants better get his stuff together before I blow. "

Ashton burst in laughter and honestly I didn't find anything I said amusing.

"What?" I asked slightly annoyed due to the fact that the whole Luke topic was giving me a migraine.

"Nothing your just so little a fragile looking it would be hilarious to see you go off on anyone."

"well you not far from getting a little taste of it Irwin."

"Aw your cute when you try to act all high and mighty."

"Damn it Ashton if you don't drive faster the sooner we get there the sooner I get away from you."

"ouch that really hurts in here." Ashton said pointing to his heart.

"whatever you dork."

~10 minutes later~

"FINALLY FREEDOM!" I say jumping out of the car and running up to Max.

"was your ride with Ashton that bad?"

"yes he talks way too much." Max and I both laugh.

"so where's Michael and the other boy."

"very mature Kat and Michael and his girlfriend should be coming with Luke and his date."

"date? wow surprised anyone wants to date Mr negativity." I say rolling my eyes.

"I sense jealousy." max says in a sing songy voice.

"Me, never its just awkward that I will be the only single one here now."

"don't forget about me." I totally forgot Ashton was there for a second. "well it doesn't have to be that way." calum says checking his phone for what seemed like the hundredth time since we've been here . " yeah you two can be like a thing for the night you know."

Ashton looked at me and smirked. " I'm up for it if you are."

"sure why not."

'am I blushing of gosh why and I blushing.

"Do we have to wait on them I'm starving and its awkward just standing I'm the parking lot." Max whined might I add quiet dramatically. I wonder if Luke and whatever girl he's bring are together or is this date just a one time thing. On that note why do I care? what is wrong with me. " Hey Kat are you okay you look kinda uneasy." Ashton waves his hand in my face and snapped me back into reality.

"oh, um yeah I'm fine."

"there they are." calum said pointing to a car pulling into the parking lot. I saw Luke, Michael, Michaels girlfriend, Alex and some other girl who I assumed was Luke's "date."

In all honesty she was gorgeous with her blonde hair and bright green eyes. "we would've gotten here sooner if Janis didn't take so long.

" well sorry my bad."

"whatever can we just go eat if I don't I'm going to die." Max said once again dramatically. "okay fine gosh calm yourself." Ashton said with that famous giggle of his. "come on Kat." Ashton grabbed my hand and pulled me away.

We were soon seated and everyone started ordering.

" To be honest I'm not even hungry." I said moving around the ice in my lemonade."

" me either I feel like if I order anything it would be a waste." Ashton said closing his menu with a sigh. "maybe we can order something and share." I looked up and saw Ashton looking at me. "sure why not." I say smiling. " You know your accent is so cute to me."

Ashton's POV

I saw Kat try to cover her blush which only made her one hundred times cuter to me. "

"thanks." she looked away from me smiling. A waitress came to our table and took everyone's orders. "So did you guys know that Kat is going to London over break."

"yes I did am I happy about it no I had special plans that I need to cancel now that I think about it."

Kat gave max a look, "relax its only for half of break we will still have a week to spend together. I just hope that the whole family can be together without any fighting this time."

"what do you mean?" Luke asks, wow this is the first time he's even acknowledged her all night I was sure he was going to ignore her. "I mean from the interviews your mom has been it she expresses you guys as the perfect family, the family to be as some people might say."

"well its not all its cracked up to be, put it this way we're basically the nations little dolls, basically we act however my mom thinks will make us look good. Two famous people marrying each other was just a set up for disaster."

Now that I think about it with Kat being the daughter of a movie director and a music producer it must be hard with her parents constantly working it must be a real strain on their marriage and her.

"But anyway what are you guys doing over break." And with that Kat plastered a fake smile across her face which now looks all too familiar.

okay so I don't even know what even was this chapter.....I'm sorry its was just thrown together at the last minute because someone she knows who she is kept pressuring me to update. so I hope you liked this crappy update.
