I some how found a way to get some sleep beside all the yelling going on downstairs.

It was about 7:30 when I was woken up by Jacob because dinner was ready.

I walk down stairs not even bothering to change out of my pajamas.

When i sat down instantly all eyes were on me.

"what?" I asked no one in particular.

Nobody said anything. I shrugged it off and everything just ate in silence until my phone went off back to back all messages from Max. shouldn't she be well asleep by now.

"may I be excused?" I asked not really caring for an answer just getting up and walking back to my room.

When I check my phone all the messages was from Max asking me to call her because it was important.

I dialed her number and she answered after one ring.

"Kat?"

" yeah, what's wrong with your voice why do you soundly like that?"

"like what?"

"like you've been crying."

"because I have… Calum and I broke up today."

I was silent and heard Max crying from the other end of the phone.

" Why though? I mean you two seemed like the perfect couple."

"Yeah that's what I thought until some girl messaged me on Facebook and told me that she had sex with him."

Max's sobs got louder. "Well have you asked Calum? she could be lying."

"of course I asked him why wouldn't I?"

"well what did he say?"

"he didn't confirm it but he sure as hell didn't deny it."

I was silent. I didn't understand Calum loved Max why would he do this to her.

"Well the day right after Christmas I'm going to be coming home so when that happened we'll have a sleepover at your house and just eat and get fat and get more addicted to Netflix than I'm already am."

I heard Max laugh slightly , "sure whatever you say."

"I'm serious but I have to go see you at the end of the week bye."

"bye."

To be honest I'm kinda glad I wasn't in Cali when this all went down.

This is the reason i don't really do the whole dating thing . In the end someone gets hurt and the romance is over just as soon as it started.
