chapter 4

Its been almost 3 and a half months since I've been going to bridge view high school. I have to admit that its a lot different from my old school back in London but I do enjoy it here in l.a . I do like that I've made so many close friends in such a short amount of time it gives me some sort of reinsurance that I'm not that hard to get along with.

we go on winter break in about a week. It kinda shocks me how thee couple of months flew by. Its still weird to me how its December and its so hot in L.A. that's one thing I hate about here its so hot all the damn time.

'ruh-hu-ringtone pick up ya phone'

I looked down at my phone and saw Max was calling me.

"Hey max what's up?"

"Nothing much, whatcha doing?"

"nothing, just packing."

"for?"

"I told you I am going to visit family in London over the holiday."

"aww poo I had special plans."

"sorry maybe when I come back."

"yeah maybe, well get dressed me and calum are picking you up in ten bye."

Before I could protest I hears the phone click. I sighed.

"why is she always trying to drag me places Bassy?" I said to my cat Sebastian who layed on the floor. I got dressed in black denim shorts, a regular white shirt and slipped on my black vans. Not really wanting to comb my hair I throw on my favorite black beanie and wait for my kidnapping to take off.

I heard a loud honk in front of the house I ran downstairs and gave my mom a quick kiss on the cheek and a goodbye before heading out the door. I looked inside if the tightly pack range roover with Luke, Michael, Ashton, Calum, Max and some dude I wasn't familiar with inside.

"And where am I supposed to sit?" I ask crossing my arms considering found back inside because it was only a 5 passenger car.
"Aw come on Kat there's plenty of r-" Calum stopped mid sentence noticing there was absolutely no room what so ever. "look, your small you can fit now hurry up kat we don't have all day." Luke said looking annoyed. I was slightly tooken back by his rudeness and attempted to wedge myself into the car. somehow I managed to get the door closed but ur was very uncomfortable. "ouch Luke your belt is poking me."
"you're so whiney today."

" well I would have to be whiney if you weren't such a di-"

"enough you two." Max said cutting me off mid sentence.

" LUKE GET YOUR ELBOW OUT OF MY SIDE!"
he just looked over at me and smirked. "Are you uncomfortable?"

"No being crammed into a car with a bunch of boys is very cozy to me." I said my voice laced with sarcasm.
"here grumpy let me help."
Luke lifted me up and sat me on his lap making me blush uncontrollably and squirm around.
"Kat stay still your moving too much."

"s-sorry" I muttered out but for some odd reason I couldn't stay still.

"Kat ,what the hell sit still." Luke grabbed me by my hips forcing me to stay still making my blush level go up by 1000 If that was even still possible. I saw the car roll into a amusement park parking lot. as soon as the car stopped I literally jumped out of the car. Everyone got out of the car. I always hated amusement parks because I had a fear of roller coaster. "w-we aren't going to ride any roller coasters a-are we?"

"well that's the whole point of coming here." Ashton said walking away with the others. I just stood there . "Kat come on some of us want to have fun unlike you." Luke said walking off. I rolled my eyes and reluctantly followed them.
I looked over at the dude I hadn't met before he was over tall about 6'3 with black hair covering his left eye, lip piercings. and very pale. I taped Ashton on the shoulder and whispered in his ear "who's dude over there?"
"oh i forgot you two haven't met, Mars this is Katrina call her Kat though, Kat this is Mars." i stuck out my hand to shake Mars's
"nice to meet you." I said with a smile
"right back at ya doll face." Mars said with a smirk. I giggled like a school girl and blushed. what the hell?! I'm giggling now, L.A is really starting to get to me. I noticed Luke glaring at Mars with a look of annoyance, what the hell is his problem?

"let's get on that one its one of the biggest ones here and the line is really short right now." Calum said pointing to a big scary looking roller coaster. "c-can we please ride something else."I said my voice laced with fear. "why looks fun!" Max said.
"its quite obvious she's scared to ride it." Mars said looking at me.
"Kat doesn't seem like the type of girl that gets scared over roller coasters." Luke said with the same voice as before.
"A-actually I have a fear of roller coasters." I said looking down.

"oh come on they aren't that bad just get on one please." Michael said trying to convince me.
"if you get on I'll buy you ice cream." mars says. I thought about of for awhile damn ice cream sounded good. "Two scoops?" I asked clearly aware that I was giving in but to hell with it. " However many scoops you want babes."

I smiled and blushed. "fine but if I die it shall forever be on your mind."
"sure whatever." mars said grabbing my hand pulling me off towards the line away from the others. once we were in like Mars never let go of my hand I would say something about it but that would just make things awkward.

Luke's POV

when I saw Mars grab Kat's hand I instantly felt jealous I mean who the hell does this guy think he is!? I didn't say anything to him to keep myself from going off on him about someone who wasn't mines at least she wasn't for now. When I saw Mars and Kat climb into the came car I got more jealous than before. I felt pathetic watching him get all cozy with Kat while I sat in a car behind them alone...how fucking fantastic.

" are you scared?" he asked her intertwining if fingers in hers.
"A-alittle." she said obviously lying she looked terrified and I should be the one trying to comfort her not Mars. "don't be princess." Mars said kissing her on her hand. when I saw that I almost went ballistic. As the ride started I saw her get very close to mars I watched him wrap his arm around her as she hid in his chest.

I swear,
this kid has a death wish.
