Kat's POV
"Max hurry up by time your done the party will be over." I yelled at max for what seemed like the thousand time. It was already 11 o'clock and if we don't leave by 11:15 I'm not going at all. "Are you sure your mom is okay with us going to this party?"
"My mom is out of town even of she wasn't okay with it there's no way she would find out plus I'll be 18 in a month so who cares at this point."
"I'm pretty sure your moms does it doesn't matter if your almost legally an adult the key word is almost and technically you still live under your moms roof so you live by her rules."
"Yeah yeah I didn't ask for a lecture, but on a different bote why aren't you wearing the dress I gave you."
I rolled my eyes this is the 3rd time tonight she asked me about that stupid dress, why tell me to bring one if I can't wear the dress I picked.
"Because I like my dress better the other dress barely covered my bum Besides what's wrong with the one I have on?"
"Nothing it just doesn't help show your body figure and its too long."
Really the dress doesn't even go to my knees!
"Just put the dress on and hurry it up or we'll be late."
Max shoved me into the bathroom. I reluctantly put on the red and might I add short dress. I came out the bathroom frowning. "See you look pretty now let's go." Max grabbed my arm and pulled me out the door. I could already tell it was going to be a long night..

When we pulled up to the house it was already trashed and half of the people were drunk all over each other and the other half high all over each other. As soon as we got to the party Max went off somewhere I guess I was supposed to follow her but I lost her in the crowd. I stood there awkwardly by myself not knowing what to do. "Hey beautiful." I turned around and saw a guy with brown hair and brown eyes the same color. I guessed he been here awhile because he looked drunk too. "Erm hey..."
"You look kinda tense I can get you something to loosen you up a bit."
I remembered what Calum said about these parties and decided to trust his word. "No thanks." I started to walk off before dude could say anything else but he grabbed my arm and yanked me back. "Come on its just a little punch just trust me its okay."
"I'm not worried about the punch I'm more worried about what's in the punch."
"I'll be honest its some vodka in it but that's it."
I looked around for and excuse to get away from this dude but Max looked a little drunk herself I guess she downed a couple of cups of the "punch" I could tell by the way she was grinding on some random. And Calum and the others were nowhere in sight. I sighed "sure." I told the dude I watched as he got the cup from the table and brought it to me. I took a sip it was rather....strong. "Its very strong."
"I'm guessing you don't drink."
I drunk the rest of the punch. After about 5 minutes I started to feel it. "You want another?"
I shook my head yes. Before I knew it the drink was gone and I was dancing with dude and I didn't even know his name.
Calums POV
I looked around the party searching for Max, even though we broke up I still cared about her not to mention the fact I still wanted to be with her. "Dude what the hell are you looking for slow down." Luke looked agitated with me but I didn't give two shits. "If your looking for max I saw her with some dude I think she's drunk."
"What makes you think I'm looking for her."
"Cal I may not be the smartest person but I'm not stupid look if she's dancing with some random obviously she's not interested in you."
"You don't know that." I was about two seconds from beating the shot out of Luke best friend or not I wasn't gonna let him talk shit like that. "Whatever you say believe what you want anyway have you seen Kat I need to talk to her."
"I seen her with Josh, only you would choose to wait till we're at a loud ass party to talk to a girl."
Luke walked off and I continued my search for Max.
