chapter 13

Kat's pov

As soon as we landed back in California I called Max to see of she was woke, it was around 7 in the morning.

"Hey did you land please say yes."

"good morning to you too and yes I did."

"Yay! okay be ready by 12 I have plans for us today." I sighed looking for my luggage. "Okay see you in a bit."

"oh and since your sleeping over bring your stuff and a party dress."

"a party dress why?"

" just do it okay bye."

she hung up before I could ask any other questions. My mum called a taxi to take us home. I couldn't wait to get home I was in desperate need of a hot shower for my tense muscles and a nap. It was a long drive home due to morning traffic and it seemed to go on and on. "so I heard your day is buying you a car next month."

"yeah I'm really excited I'm trying to figure out which one I want."

" well when you get this car I want you to be responsible with it I don't want you driving around for the heck of it."

"yeah yeah I know."

As soon as we got home i unpacked which took about two  hours considering how lazy I was being. After I unpacked I took a hour long shower and cleaned alittle, washing clothes and such. By time I was done with all that stuff I had barely any time left to take a nap. "Okay I'm just going to take a half an hour nap nothing more." I said to myself. I slowly drifted off to sleep after that.

Not even getting a full 15 minutes of sleep my ringtone of sugar, we're goin' down by fallout boy went off. Of course it was Max.

"I could have sworn you said 12." I said as soon as I answered the phone.

" I did but I changed my mind be there in 5 bye."

I hung up the phone and groaned. I got up and made my way upstairs to my room. I threw on a black  jumper, white ripped skinny jeans and black all-star converse. I comes my hair down applying a little eye liner and grabbing all my stuff. As soon as I heard a knock on the door I told my mum bye and made my way downstairs.

As soon as I got outside I was attacked with a hug." you don't know how much I missed you this break has been hell." I laughed at how relived she looked. " so where are we going?" I got in Max's car as she started the engine. "Well since I didn't get you a Christmas present I figured we could do something today that both of us would enjoy so we're going to a spa."

"a spa with like massages and stuff?"

"duh what other spa do you know of."

"I'm sorry but I don't do people rubbing all over my body it makes me feel awkward."

"You'll be fine."

For awhile we listened to the radio then I remembered to ask Max why I needed a dress. " Oh yeah why did u tell me to get a dress."

"okay so it's a party tonight at Ashley's house so I figure why not go it will take my mind off things you know."

"okay I get all that but I have one question."

"which is?"

"Who the hell is Ashley?"

"I never said I knew the girl in just said I knew she was having a party."

I rubbed my temples to calm my slight headache. "oh god please let's just not go to this party."

"why it might be fun who knows."
