Chapter 17

Luke's POV

I felt shuffling in the bed, i looked over and saw Kat. It took me a minute to process why she was in my bed then i remembered what happened last night. It made me mad just thinking about it. Why didn't he just pick her up like she asked? Why did she call Ashton first? Why did she get in the car anyway?

A million thoughts ran through my head. I didnt know why i was thinking about it so much, thinking about her so much. I looked over at her face. I watched her chest slowly rise and fall, her breathing was so steady. She looked so peaceful snuggled up against my side. My thoughts were interupped by her phone ringing, once i saw Ashtons name i mentally groaned.

Why is he calling her so early? It isnt even 7 yet.

I guess Kat didnt hear her phone and i wasnt going to bother to answer.

He called once again, twice, three time.

Man is she knocked out.

After that text messages started to flash across the screen.

Ashton: Hello?

Ashton: Kat are you okay?

Ashton: Ive been worried all night you havent been answering your phone.

Ashton: Hello? Kat, hello?

I decided to put a end to his worrying and send a text of my own.

Luke: You can stop your "worrying" Kat is with me and shes fine. Shes sleeping. Honestly its just my opinion if you were that worried about her you would have picked her up and made sure she was okay from the beginning instead of going off and beating up some douche like that help her any from the situation she was in in the first place.

I felt some what accomplishe after pressing send. Ashton was my friend and all but what he did was plain backwards in my opinion.

I saw Kat moving around as if she was going to wake up. I faked like i was sleeping so she would hopefully fall back to sleep.

"L-Luke?" Kat tapped my side, her voice horse and slightly cracking.

"hmm?"

"Thanks, for you know helping me out last night."

I looked her in the eyes.

"It was no big deal, just helping out a friend."

Kat looked at me then slightly chuckled.

"what?" i asked concerened.

"You know one minute you act like you cant stand me and the next im your 'friend' i just dont get you."

I sat up and smirked. " i never said i didnt like you its just that you're annoying some times."

"Gee thanks for the complement Lucas, so are we friends now?"

"One dont call me Lucas because thats not my name, and two like i said i never said we weren't you just chose to believe we weren't." She smaked my arm.

"whatever go get me some water."

"Sure whatever you say your royal highness." i said throwing the pillow at her.

"hey, dont be a royal pain in the ass."

i smirked and walked out the room.

so um yeah just kind of a filler chapter so yeah....
