"So this is it huh?" I decided to visit Max one last time before my departure at Three. It was around twoish so I had some time. "No, this is not it. Just think of it as a healthy break." I said
Max rolled her eyes but smiled. "I don't think this break is going to be healthy for much of anyone." She joked but I knew she meant it. "Don't be like that, I promise I'll be back as soon as summer vacation starts." I smiled, I atleast wanted everyone to keep that in mind. It's not like I was going to be gone forever.Max smiled and clapped her hands together. "Well I'm definitely going to miss you."
"Same." I sighed.
"Well, traffic is a killer this time of day," Max sniffled. "You should probably get going."Kat hugged Max one last hug goodbye before slowly walking down the steps to the car.
Stalling for time, she checked her phone.
Luke Hemmings:
Anyone else have that one playlist that makes you miss someone so much?I signed, she didn't even know why she still had his Twitter notifications on. It was literal torture.
I slowly drove home, again stalling for time. At this point there wasn't much more stalling I could do. Everything was packed and ready to go, most of my belongings already sent back home.
I slowly walked back into the house. "Hi mum."
"Is it that time already? Alright let's get moving I guess." My mom smiled.
We drove fairly quickly to the airport, a lot quicker than I would like.
Slowly, that's what my mind told her do everything slowly. Maybe somethings would tell me that this isn't what needed to happen, yet I know that it is. There is nothing that could make me stay anymore.
I tried my best not to cry before boarding. But my bed just want good enough. "Don't cry," my mum said trying to calm me down. "I'll see you soon okay." I nodded my head and hugged her.
I was the last person to board the plane. I sat with a middle aged couple, ignoring all small talk they tried to make.
My phone buzzed twice, thinking it was a text message I looked at the screen.
Luke Hemmings: The last song is what kills you the most. Because you just restart the playlist, suffering all over again.
Luke Hemmings: It's a never ending cycle.
I sighed and closed my eyes waiting for the plane to take off.
I felt my phone buzz again. I had to turn his Twitter notifications off, or else I was going to suffer the whole trip.
Except this time it wasn't a Twitter notification, it was a text.
