Kat read the message and wondered what Luke could want. It was probably something really stupid. She sighed as she grabbed her math book and closed her locker. "Hey." She heard a familiar voice. She turned around and saw Mars. She hasn't spoken to him since they went to the amusement park. " oh hey." She said clutching her math book to her chest. "Haven't talked to you in while." She watched as he brushed his hair out of his face. "Yeah.." She silently agreed. "So," he said with an pause. "So," she said repeating him.
"Are you going to the sweetheart dance?" He asked.

Kat paused, was this him asking her to the dance?
"Um, I hadn't planned on it since no one asked me." She said walking towards her class room as he followed behind her.

"Well? Mars said motioning towards himself.

"Well what?" Kat paused her walking carefully watching the clock to make sure she had enough time to make it to class. She didn't really see what was the point of the conversation.

"Will you go to the dance with me?"

Kat almost dropped her books, she was so surprised. She didn't even talk to mars so why would he want to go to the dance with her?

"Um, I don't know. Like I said I wasn't even planning on going." She began walk to class again, Mars following behind her. "But ill get back to you about it. I'm going to be late for class." Kat said dashing towards the math room.

Mars sighed walking towards his next class.

Kat sat down at her desk and sighed heavily.

Sms From: Luke
Okay??

Sms To: Luke
Can't, important project due. Can't you just tell me now?

Kat put her phone back in her pocket and attempted to do the bell ringer in the board. As soon as class started her phone buzzed in her pocket.

Sms from: Luke
Meet me at my car after school I'll drive you home.

She quickly typed to prevent being caught by the teacher.

Sms to: Luke
Okay sure ttyl

She looked at the clock and sighed, this day was going by far too slowly.
