Chapter 4: Another Day! (Two Days Old)

I woke up the next morning I looked around the room, it was dark but the day light was shining in, I could see my parents bed, two bumps were there, one of them turned onto it's back, this one was closer to the door, than it was to me, it started snoring, the second bump which was closer to me, mumbled something in its sleep, it turned over to its other side and pushed the first bump back onto its side, it then stopped snoring. I could hear a few cries from downstairs, from the dogs I thought as I turned my head to face the wall on my right, I saw a nice teddy just by my side, I reached out and grabbed her leg, I pulled her closer and hugged her, I decided to call her Bella, after a few minutes I was asleep again.
I woke up a few hours later, the day light was brighter, and the first bump wasn't there anymore, but the second bump was, I started making funny noises and crying a little, the top part of the bump lifted, it seemed to turn to look in my way then the cover flipped over and the bump was my Mum! She sat up, rubbed her eyes then reached over to the chest of drawers and took down a bottle, she walked over to me and lifted me out and sat down on her bed, then fed me my milk.
"Good Morning Sweetie" Mum said "you did really well, sleeping through the night."
She smiled down at me while I drank, after my milk she put me back in my crib where I fell asleep. When I woke up again about two hours later, the light was on and Mum was getting dressed and the dogs were with her. When she finished dressing, she came over to me and picked me up to dress me, she put a new nappy on and some warm clothes, then she carried me downstairs to the living room and put me in the Step N' Play, while I played Mum made herself breakfast and ate that in the living room watching me play, the cats were sleeping on the sofa, the dogs were on the warm fluffy rug in front of the fire place. When Mum finished her breakfast she went into the kitchen to put her plates away then she came back and took out her phone and took some photos of the cats then some of the dogs then came to take some of me in my Step N' Play, then she took me out and sat me on the sofa and took some more, Marmalade then came walking over and lay next to me with her paws across my legs, Mum smiled and took some more photos, she turned round and saw Lisa laying down on her tummy and was looking towards us, mum seemed to have an idea because she picked Marmalade and me up, then sat us next to Lisa so I was leaning on her shoulder, and Marmalade sat on the other side of me, so Lisa's head was on my right and Marmalade was on my left with my left arm round her, Mum took a photo then she put her phone away and sat me on her lap to put my coat on, then she laid me in my special chair thing while she put her own coat on, she put some shoes on to, and got a pram out, she picked me up and put me in, she strapped me up, just then my Dad walked in,
"Ah i see you two are ready already?"
He said as he changed his shoes then went out, I wondered where he was going, Mum pushed me outside while grabbing two leads, and letting the dogs out, then locked the house, and walking the other way from the entrance of the farm, when we went round the house, I saw a big barn, the doors were open and so where the back ones, a minute later I saw Dad appear from the back doors, he walked down towards us, when Mum pushed me through the front doors, Fred, Blaze, Sunshine, Tolo and some more horses neighed loudly to my Mum, she steered my pram to the first stable, and a handsome chestnut horse was standing there, he put his head down as far as he could and nickered softly.
"This is Fred!" Mum said as she walked up to him, she held his head in her arms and talked to him, she kissed his cheek and opened his stable door, she put a rope thing across the door then pushed me nearer, Fred put his head down all the way till he reached me, he started to sniff my feet, I giggled as I felt his muzzle, he moved from my feet to my legs then my tummy and I laughed my first belly laugh! I saw him prick his ears forward, and he moved up to my chest, from there I lifted my hands and touched his face, he was soo gentle! His coat was soo soft and shiny, I looked up at him and smiled, I lifted my head and leant forward to kiss him on his face, I leant back after and looked to the right I saw my Dad taking photos, I smiled and out of the corner of my eye I saw Fred lift his head and look to the left so we both were looking at the camera, then Mum pulled my pram away and we watched as Dad led Fred out, he walked him along the barn then Dad put him in a field on his left, and came back, Mum pushed my pram to the next stable, there stood Blaze, she wasn't as interested as Fred, moving her ears around a lot and getting nervous, every minute passing, she got more nervous so Mum pulled the pram away and Dad managed to calm her down then he took her to the field where she joined with Fred, Mum pushed me to the next stall and Alberto stood there, he looked at me, then went back to eating his hay, Dad opened his stable door, I was pushed forward, Alberto bent his head down and nickered as in hello then ate his hay.
"Alberto doesn't seem bothered about Annie" Mum said as she pulled my pram away, Dad led Alberto away to the field while Mum pushed me to see two shetlands, one was white and other was chestnut Mum didn't let me go near Snowball because he sometimes bites so Dad turned him out with the other horses, while Mum pushed me closer to see Thomas my shetland, Mum opened the stall and put the rope across then pushed me closer, Thomas knew that i was going to be his owner, so he greeted me by nickering and sniffed me, he moved to my upper chest and I leant forward to kiss him on the nose, then Dad took down the rope after putting on his halter and let Thomas walk forward, he walked up to the side of the pram and nuzzled me, I put up a hand and stroked his face, then reached over and patted him on the neck, Dad then put him in the field, while Mum took me to see the cow she was called Daisy, she looked at me while Dad let her out in her field on the top left, then we went to see Sunshine and her foal Princess, my future horse! Dad put a halter on the two and held them when the stable door was opened, Mum didnt push me forward incase Sunshine was nervous or protective of her foal, after a bit of chatting Dad turned them out in the bottom right
field.
Mum pushed my pram to the last stall where a beautiful dark bay horse stood,
"This is Tolo!" Mum told me, Tolo nickered to me then Dad turned him out while Mum pushed me out of the barn and started to walk along the streets then down by the canal after a mile of the walk we went back uphill to the streets and went into some shops, we bought a few things then walked home again, by the time we got home it was one o clock so Mum gave me my lunch bottle then put me in my play pen thing where i fell asleep.
When I woke up it was nearly 5 o clock, Mum had put some toys in my pen so i played with them for a while then Dad and Mum came in, they had just had their tea and Mum had my bottle in her hand, she lifted me out of the pen sat me on her lap and fed me. After that they let me have ten minutes rest then they played with me for a while and Mum stopped to take some pictures of me playing with Dad, the dogs and cats all joined then after that I showed signs that I was tired so Mum put me to bed which I fell asleep cuddling Bella.
