Chapter 13: A Day With Horses And Snowball Passes

We woke up the next morning by Lisa barking, Mum jumped out of bed and quietened her then jumped into the shower, jumped out five minutes later, she dressed both her and I, after that she carried me downstairs and put us in the high chair and made her breakfast while giving me my bottle, Lisa starting pawing the door and crying, Mum gave in and we followed Lisa, she took us to the field, in a panic Mum called all the horses to the gate, all came except for Snowball and Thomas.... Mum threw open the gate and ran through closing the gate behind her, she ran across the field calling for Thomas and Snowball, we heard a faint neigh in reply from Thomas, when we got closer, we could see Snowball's body lying on the ground and Thomas was guarding his body,
"SNOWBALL" Mum yelled trying to hold back tears,
nothing happened, Snowball had passed away in the night, Mum sighed and walked back to the gate crying, she wiped her eyes then brought the horses in to their new stables, she called Amy over and they made another grave, buried Snowball then got to work, grooming all the horses and cow, she turned the horses out again except Tolo, Fred and Thomas, she tacked them all up and led Tolo into the school she parked my parm in the corner and cut of that corner with jumps, then finally mounted Tolo, I watched them for the next hour
"good boy Tolo!" Mum praised and dismounted, she untacked him and turned him out, then bought Fred out and jumped a course with him then he joined Tolo in the field and finally we had lunch, Mum had a sandwich while I had my bottle, after that we went back to the school and Thomas came, Mum got on him and rode around for one lap then got off, she patted him and snapped a picture, she came over to me and picked me up,
"You are riding Thomas for the first time ever" Mum told me smiling, she walked over to him and bent down, she let Thomas sniff me, he nickered then Mum moved me to his side and Mum lifted me onto his back, Mum placed one hand on my back to support me and one hand on Thomas' s reins leading me around the school, Thomas behaved perfectly, after about thirty minutes of walking, changing reins and doing circles, we ended the ride there for the day, Mum untacked him and turned him out after taking a picture of me on him.
Mum put me in my play pen where I played with some toys and books, Mum sat on the sofa, we lazied around for around a hour then we went for a walk with the dogs which took around two hours, then mum strapped me into my car seat and drove off to the shops, Mum then put me in the special seat on a trolley, we spent about an hour there buying food plus an odd thing there and now. Lisa and I played while Mum put the shopping away, not long after, she came back in and went on her laptop, half an hour later she seemed busy, she was smiling and phoning up some random people then rushed back into the kitchen, soon she came back and took me through, she fed me my bottle while she ate her dinner.
She put me to bed after my bottle, Mum also went to bed, Lisa lay on her bed with Tom, Marmalade and Rex lay under my crib.
