Annie's Adventures

Chapter 12

Mum and I woke up by the door bell,
"Who's ringing the bell this time in the morning?" Mum said as she looked at her clock "oh my goodness, it's almost 10 o clock!" She jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to open the door,
"Amy!" I heard my Mum call, I heard a conversation going on then Mum running back upstairs and jumped into the shower, five minutes later she jumped out again and dried herself, she put the same clothes on but a different top and underwear from what she wore yesterday then dressed me after saying good morning to me, she carried me downstairs,
"how are you getting on?" Mum asked Amy as she cooked our breakfast, Mum put me in my highchair while she fixed my bottle,
"Good, are you both ok?" Amy replied
"Yes" Mum answered
She gave me my bottle then layed the table, and helped Amy, not long after breakfast was layed down and attacked by Amy's and Mum's knifes and forks,
"I wonder how we will find out what Annie's puppies names are as she can't speak for a while..." Amy said
"I don't know hopefully we'll get some signs or something" Mum replied and Amy agreed. After breakfast, Amy and Mum went upstairs to finish off the rooms, I think I must have fallen asleep because it was hardly been a second when I heard Amy and Mum come back into the kitchen,
"That's most of the house done!" said Amy,
"Yes, thank you again" replied Mum
They chatted while making lunch, soon after making lunch, Mum fed me my bottle, then she joined Amy, after a nice meal of hash browns, fish cakes and beans, they cleared up, and finished off the house, around a hour later they strapped me into my pram, Amy and Mum put their coats on then pushed me out and we all went for a walk, soon we came across a bramble bush, I smiled and pointed at the bush,
"Thats a lovely bramble bush isn't it Annie?" said Amy who was walking beside the pram, I smiled and giggled happily whenever Amy or Mum said the word 'Bramble'.
"Annie seems to like the word Bramble..." said Mum while pushing me past the bramble bush,
"Maybe she's trying to tell us something?" asked Amy
I giggled and nodded
"do you think...Bramble is what she wants to call one of her puppies?" Amy continued while patting Lisa, who had also come for a walk along with Rex and Max,
"Uh huh" Mum replied "maybe, Annie, do you want to call your male puppy Bramble?"
I nodded
"Yay we finally know the name of the male pup!" said both Mum and Amy, we got a few stares from other people walking pass, but Mum and Amy just laughed,
"Now to find out the female's name!" Said Amy happily
Mum nodded
"Annie, does the female pups name start with B?"
I nodded
"Well that helps" Mum said to Amy, now think of girl names that start with B,"
"She looks like a Beth then, is it Beth Annie?"
I shook my head
"What's the next letter, R?" Asked Mum I nodded
"Another clue!" said Mum laughing
"What girl names are their that start with Br?"
"Br, Br, Br" Amy and Mum chanted
Just then a cool breeze blew gently,
"Breeze!?" said Amy and I nodded hard,
"Bramble and Breeze" said Mum smiling "lovely names now for our last puppy"
Mum thought hard then spoke up
"She looks like a Lily, i shall call her that"
"Ok so Charlie, Bramble, Breeze and Lily?" Amy replied and Mum nodded, then we got home, Amy stayed with me playing a game while Mum went away for about an hour then thanked Amy and she went home with Max, not long after they left, the horse lorry
pulled into our driveway, the lady who I regonised, she was the one with Mum when I watched her ride, got out and greeted Mum.
"hello Cathy! How are you?" she said
"hi Ashley! I'm fine thank you, how are you?" Mum replied
"Good, the horses were great, Blaze, Sunshine and Princess were a little nervous but got on"
Explained Ashley
While they put the ramp down and began to unload the horses, first to come out was Snowball then, Thomas followed by Blaze, then Alberto and Sunshine and Princess, then Tolo, Fred and last of all Daisy, they all were let out to the field.
Ashley and Mum then chatted for a while and looked around the house then Ashley left and Mum cooked dinner, while dinner was cooking Mum played with me, after dinner and my bottle Mum cleared up then took me to our room and undressed both her and I then went to sleep
