Chapter 8: Bed & Breakfast (6 days old)

I was in my house, sitting on the bench on the patio just outside the house, ahead of me was a lovely big garden where lots of dogs were running around, there was four big play pens, two on either side of the garden, on the right, you could see lots of girly things to play with, the first pen was full of guinea pigs and the one behind it was full of rabbits, on the left side was the boy's side, there was guinea pigs in the front one, behind it was the rabbits. Behind this garden was a slope up onto a hill, at the top of this slope there was a big big field and lots of horses were it, on the right was the barn and on the left was just a forest of trees, I smiled at the lovely view, when suddenly there was a big flash, I had to close my eyes at the bright light, I opened my eyes again and I could see Mum looking down at me, smiling,
"sorry Annie! You looked soo peaceful and happy! You must have been dreaming!" She picked me up and gave me a big cuddle then lay me down to dress me, she had her hair down this time and was wearing a black top with navy jeans.
After Mum sorted both of us, including our bags, she carried me downstairs, we saw Amy already up and making breakfast, Mum put me on the sofa, she managed to sit me up, the cushions supporting my back so I watched the dogs play, watched Mum help Amy make breakfast and my bottle, I watched them eat after that Amy fed me my bottle while Mum made a few calls then strapped me in my car seat and put the bags in beside me, she said good bye to Amy, I waved bye to Amy too, Mum managed to get a photo of me waving, then got in the car and drove off, half an hour later Mum parked outside Baby Day Care, and unstrapped me from my car seat, she picked up my bag and walked in, she gave the ladies in the office a nod and walked on, she turned right and entered the room, Darcey greeted us as Emma was busy,
"Hello Annie!" She said softly to me, I waved slowly to her and she tickled my tummy, I giggled
"And you're Annie's Mum? I'm Darcey"
"Yes, Cathy" Mum answered "nice to meet you"
"Nice to meet you too, I might be a bit late picking Annie up sorry," Mum said
"Thats no problem, we stay open for an extra hour" Darcey replied and Mum nodded "good bye Annie, I'll see you tonight" said Mum and gave me a hug and kiss then handed me to Darcey and left waving good bye, Darcey and I waved back, I stared up at Darcey, she put me down on the mat beside the other babies, and gave me some toys to play with after Darcey was sorted she read us the story she was reading to us the other day, and we did the same, we fell asleep but woke up when Darcey stopped and we begged her to read more, this went on till she had read us two long chapters, it was time for lunch, we all were put in high chairs, Darcey fed the boy's baby food, while Emma who had come back while we were sleeping, fed the girls, after our meal we were put back on the mat and given some toys to play with while the staff had lunch, after an hour the boy's were put in one pram while the girls were put in another pram, with blankets over us to keep us warm, we walked to the park the girls including me just watched the boy's play, Darcey helped them by pushing the swings and helping them down the slide, Emma took loads of photos of the boy's and girls, while keeping an eye on the pram's after about two hours later we left the park and went back to baby day care, most of us especially the boy's were half asleep, so Emma and Darcey put us to bed in the bedroom.
I woke up two hours later because two of the boy's were crying and screaming loudly, the third boy and I woke up and started crying because there was too much noise, apparently the Mum's of the two boys had come to pick up their sons, and they had to be wakened up which they did not like! The girls parents also came to pick them up, they didn't make too much fuss thank goodness! The parents hurriedly left with their children, there was only Aidan and I left, we stopped crying when the noise went away, we both fell asleep again, Adian left with his Mum half an hour later, I didn't wake up so didn't know about this, another half an hour passed and I woke up, I stretched and kicked about I couldn't hear anything it was dead quiet like I was the only living thing in the building, about ten minutes later I heard a few people talking then people putting shoes and coats on and some doors being locked, silence followed, then I heard foot steps come towards the bedroom, the door opened and there stood Emma, in her coat! She came over to me, I saw my bag hitched on her shoulder, she put my shoes and coat on then carried me out of the room, she walked passed the office, her heels ringing loudly on the floor as she walked, there was a man waiting at the front door, he followed after Emma and locked the building after turning the lights off, Emma walked to her car and got in the drivers seat, and waited for five minutes just hugging me then put me on the passenger seat and very slowly and carefully drove out of the parking space and drove at a snail's pace to the front of the building, still no car, Emma parked the car, turned the engine off and cuddled me again, together we both waited for my Mum after which seemed like ages, Mum finally drove into the car park and parked near Emma's car, Emma was getting out the car already and walking over to Mums car,
"Hello Cathy, how are you?" Asked Emma politely,
"I'm fine thank you, I'm so sorry I'm soo late! I didn't realise I'd be this late!" Mum replied
"Oh it's fine, I could stay longer so I just waited in my car with Annie. I took more photos today, which I shall print off and give to you tomorrow" Emma said
"Oh well thank you ever so much" said Mum, she opened the door to the back seat
"Today was kind of a special day because Aidan, Ben and Jack all move up to the next group because they turn 6 months old tomorrow" said Emma
"Aww right! Annie turns one week old tomorrow!" Said mum
"Oh! Happy one week Birthday Annie for tomorrow!!"
I smiled up at Emma as in thank you, Mum said it for me,
"Thank you Emma" Mum replied smiling while Emma strapped me in my car seat, Mum closed the door and got in the drivers side after thanking Emma again, Emma smiled back and stepped away, so Mum could drive out of the car park, about 20 minutes we arrived at a very big building, Mum found a place to park her car, got out and got the pram out of her boot then put me in that, she also got a few things out, finally she locked the car and pushed me towards the big doors, she pulled the pram up the steps back wards and walk through the double doors, there was a big room, a few seats, lots of people standing around with suitcases or without, she got a key from the lady at the desk, then Mum pushed me to a lift and we walked out on a different floor, she pushed me through a lot of corridors before finally stopping at a door, she unlocked it and walked in, inside was a big room, a double bed in the middle, a crib near by, a big wardrobe and two chest of drawers, there was also a bathroom too, plus a small table, on the bed lay Marmalade, Tom and Sooty!
Mum took me out of the pram and put me on the bed, Marmalade came over and purred while rubbing herself all over me, Mum sat on the bed and went on her laptop, she said she was looking for a house to buy.
half an hour before dinner was out Mum closed the laptop and sat on the floor after putting a blanket down on the floor, then she picked me up and held me up, I began to try and walk, Mum was smiling, then she sat me on her lap and kissed my cheek, Mum took out her phone and took a selfie with me then took another one of her kissing me, she put the phone down at last,
"I love you" she said
I giggled happily, then she stood up and grabbed her bag, she locked our room and walked downstairs to the dining room, and selected a table to sit at, she put me in a high chair, not long after that a waiter came to order drinks, Mum asked for orange juice with ice, the waiter bowed and went away, he came back with the drink, Mum thanked him and ordered a fish meal, he bowed again and went away, Mum gave me my bottle which I drank happily, half an hour later the waiter came back with Mum's meal, I watched her eat her fish.
An hour later Mum carried me up to our room, she undressed me and tucked me in bed, I fell asleep.
