Chapter 46

I wake up stretching, I open my eyes to find I'm in my cot in Mums room, Mum and Lynn are in bed together, Faith and Lisa are on their bed, Rex is on the doggy bed, Marmalade was at the foot of my cot, and I couldn't see Tom I lay there looking around, I spot Bella so I roll over onto my side and play with her, before I know it, Mum and Lynn are waking up, Mum slides out of bed and walks over to me, she smiles as she sees I'm awake
"I knew you would be awake! You went to bed pretty early last night" she says as she picks me up and lays me next to Lynn who cuddles into me, Mum goes to shower and get changed. Once she was finished, she took me from Lynn and started changing me while Lynn gets up for her shower, when Mum finishes dressing me she takes me downstairs and lays me in my bouncer while she sorts the animals out and prepares their breakfast, when Lynn finally came down Mum, Lynn and I headed outside to sort the horses out, changing their rugs, feeding them and turning them out. Once that was done we headed back inside to have breakfast, after breakfast we sat on the sofa for a while relaxing and chatting well Lynn and Mum were doing the talking, then we got up, Lynn let the dogs out for toilet while Mum put me in my car seat then she got in the car, Lynn locks up the house for Mum and runs to jump into the car, then we're off.
"We're going to visit Charlie and Breeze! Lynn is going to meet them for the first time!" Mum says and I giggle happily, after a while we finally arrive and get out of the car, Lynn carries me to the front door of Amy's house, Mum rings the bell and we wait. We hear Max and Daisy barking, Amy tries to shhh them but it doesn't work then she opens the door greeting us, Mum and Amy hug then Mum introduces Amy and Lynn. We walk inside and the adults all talk away, finally after Daisy met Lynn we headed into the living room and sat by the welping pen,
"Which ones Charlie and Breeze!?" Lynn asks excitedly as Amy looks through the puppies and picks one up, "this is Breeze here" she says handing her to Mum and then she finds Charlie and picks him up, "and this is Charlie"
Lynn gasps in awe,
"They are super cute! Can I hold one?" She asks, Mum places Breeze on her lap then takes me from Lynn, "of course" Mum says as Amy hands her Charlie.
"Oh my goodness he's so soft!" Lynn says gently stroking his head, Amy takes me from Mum cradling me in her arms
"Hello Annie! How have you been? Are you looking forward to have your puppy Breeze home?" I smile up at her listening then I look over to see Mum and Lynn had switched puppies and were cuddling them. We stayed like that for a while before the puppies started to cry and Daisy started looking for them, so Mum and Lynn put the puppies back in the box and then they all got up and sat on the sofa, Amy handing me over to Mum.
"Cup of tea or coffee anyone?" They both nod their heads smiling,
"Yes please that would be lovely! Tea for both of us" Mum replies Amy smiles back and heads off to make the cup of teas, Mum let me nurse from her, Lynn and Mum started a conversation in the meantime and Amy joined in the conversation when she came back with a tray which held three mugs of steaming tea.
"Thank you Amy!" Lynn says as they all take a sip from their teas,
"Very nice thank you!" Mum joins
"You're both very welcome!" Amy replies and I zone out of their conversation as I look around, after what felt like hours, Mum and Lynn got up again to find Breeze and Charlie to have another cuddle then we headed out, waving bye to Amy and her dogs.
Lynn straps me in my car seat and we head back home, picking up the three dogs and transferring me from my car seat to my pram, we went for a long walk, enjoying the views, the dogs enjoying their exercise and the adults enjoying each others company and chatting away.
After a lovely long walk we arrived back home, the dogs went to get a big drink of water then collapsed onto the floor in the living room panting, Mum, Lynn and I headed upstairs to get changed into our lounge wears and pjs, then we all sat down together on the sofa and cuddled under the blankets, watching a movie, I found myself falling asleep from the darkness and the warmth, when I woke up again a while later, I was cradled in Lynn's arms, I look up to see she had fallen asleep as well I look over at Mum and she's still awake, as the Credits came on after the movie Mum stretched and yawned then she looked over at us and smiled.
"Aww look at you two!" She whispered as she grabs her phone and takes a few photos of us, after that she turns off the tv and carefully lifts me up from Lynn's arms, she lays me down on the mat and we play quietly together, after a while Mum decides to move to the kitchen, she sits me in my little baby chair while she makes a cup of tea for Lynn and herself,
"Annie? Where's Annie? Cathy? Where are you?" We hear Lynn calling panicked a short while later
"We're in the kitchen!" mum yells and then Lynn walks in stretching
"I fell asleep with Annie in my arms and when I woke up she wasn't there so I panicked." Lynn says
Mum smiles in reply and hands her a cup of tea.
"Made you a cuppa"
Mum says as they walk into the lounge and sit down on the couch.
"Want to order a takeaway?" Mum asks
"Yes!! Love a good take away!"
So Mum goes on her phone to order, Mum gives me my bottle and they chat while waiting for their order to arrive.
A short while later, the doorbell goes causing the three dogs to start barking, Lynn manages the three dogs while Mum fetches the delivery, she brings it to the living room, I smile as I watch Lynn and Mum happily tuck in, I play with my toys while they eat, the dogs are sleeping exhausted from their long walk, once they were finished their dinners, they cleaned up then we all went outside to the barn to sort the horses out, bring them in, change rugs, feed them, give them fresh water and hay I watched from my playpen while Mum and Lynn did all that. Finally we headed back inside and fed the cats and dogs, cleaned up the house and once all the chores were done they sat down again cradling me in their arms watching another movie on Netflix, not long after the movie started I fell asleep.
