Chapter 19: Going Swimming

The next morning I woke up and saw that Mum and the animals were still asleep so I rolled over and tried to fall asleep again, I did and woke up a few hours later, the dogs were up and walking around, after a few minutes Mum woke up and yawned, she got up didn't shower, she got dressed in a bathing suit then put casual clothes on top, then dressed me the same way, we both went down fed the animals and our self's then got in the car and drive of to a building, Mum parked and we walked in, it was nice and warm, Mum paid then we went into the changing room and changed, Mum locked our stuff away and blew up my toy chair thing and finally we walked to the pool, Mum sat on the second step and held me up, I put my feet on the step and let the water flow over, I giggled, i tried to step to the deeper part so Mum got down to the third step and let me move to the next step, i stepped down with her help and the water went up to my knees, I tried to get down again, Mum stood up and walked right into the pool, the water was up to her chest, Mum put me in the chair and let me float, I kicked about under the water, we had fun swimming around, 15 minutes later I was joined by a group and a few staff looked after the babies while the Mum's and Dads had a twenty minute swim, then we were paired with our parents again, for the next hour we did baby swimming sessions, it was so fun and we were tired at the end, Mum climbed out of the pool carrying me, she took me back to the changing room where we got showered then dried off then changed into our clothes, we walked out and Mum bought a drink and a biscuit then got in the car with me after thanking the staff, we drove home and let the dogs out, Mum put Fred in the Walker then lunged Tolo, she sorted all the horses out and went to sit on the sofa, she put me in my play pen where I fell asleep, when I woke up again Mum looked like she had done a few more jobs, she came in from the kitchen and took me through, and fed me my bottle while she had quarn mince pies and mash, after she cleared away we played some games til very late where we turned in and fell fast asleep.
