I woke up by the movements of Mum moving around the room, she dressed us both and fed the animals then our self's, she then walked to the field and somehow made all the horses canter across so she could see what their canter was like, she decided Tolo was the smoothest, so she fetched Tolo' s and Fed's halters, she brought them in and tacked them up, putting normal riding tack on Fred and special tack on Tolo, she strapped me in fixed Some things so she had full control of him and Fred, while riding Fred. Finally she mounted and started walking down the woods, luckily Tolo and Fred were best friends as Tolo was walking right next to Fred and sometimes behind him, we walked through the woods to a open area where we all broke into a trot - my first ever trot! Tolo's trot was soo smooth I didn't even bounce around, after a bit we cantered, I loved the hack, beautiful view all around and Tolo's head bobbing up and down in front of me, we slowed down to a walk and walked along, then we turned round and went back, when we got back Mum dismounted and took me down from Tolo's back, she put me on a chair to sit and watch her, I watched as Mum untacked both horses and turned them out, then she picked me up and went back to the house, I was put in the play pen where I fell asleep, the dogs came in and collapsed on the floor and were asleep, Mum lay on the sofa with the cats and went on her phone. When I woke up Mum had lunch ready, I took my bottle and drank while Mum ate her soup, an hour after lunch passed, Mum put me in the car seat and threw some bags in then put the dogs in the boot, and we drove to another house, we got out then walked up the path, Mum rang the bell and a tall kind looking lady with brown hair answered the door,
"Hello Jessie!"
"Hello Cathy! How are you?"
"I'm fine thanks! You?"
"Great! Come in!"
Mum stepped in and took the dogs off the lead, they disappeared into another room, Jessie, Mum and I followed them, we sat on the sofa in the living room, I saw Lisa, Rex and Macey playing with a few dogs.
"Annie, this is Auntie Jessie, my sister, your auntie!" said Mum
"Hello Annie!" said Auntie Jessie waving at me, she then asked my Mum if she wanted tea, she did so Auntie Jessie went away.
"Annie, these four dogs are Auntie Jessie's dogs, two Labradors and two spaniels, one of the Labradors is Lisa's sister!" Mum told me,
Auntie Jessie came in with two cups of tea,
"Thanks Jessie" said Mum as she took her cup and sipped from it, "I was just telling Annie about your dog's, two labs and two spaniels, one is Lisa's sister."
"Ah yes," she turned to the dogs "Misty!" She called and a chocolate labrador came out of the group then sat at Auntie Jessie's feet,
"This is Misty, Lisa's sister and I plan to breed her next year"
She let Misty back into the group and called out another dog
"Boris!"
a black labrador came out and sat by her feet,
"This is Boris, Misty's boyfriend"
She let Boris back out and called another two dogs
"Willow and Teddy!"
They came and sat at her feet
"This is Willow and Teddy," she let them off then sat back and chatted to Mum while I watched the dogs play, but I still listened to what Aunt Jessie and Mum were saying,
"I'm now 8 months pregnant and I can't wait for my daughter to be born" said Auntie Jessie,
"Oh really? It will be nice for Annie to have a cousin around her age" Mum replied
"Yeah, how old is Annie now?" Auntie Jessie asked
"Two weeks and four days old! Time has flown, it feels like only yesterday I gave birth to Annie, how is Jackson?" Mum replied
"He's fine thanks, how is Gary?" Auntie Jessie asked
"I broke up with him nearly two weeks ago, well he died just before I was going to kick him out of the house" Mum told her
"Oh no, I'm sorry to hear" Auntie Jessie said
"No its fine" Mum replied
Mum and Auntie Jessie started talking about other things so I watched the dogs play again and an hour later we waved bye to Auntie Jessie,
"Thanks for having us, it was nice seeing you" Mum told her
"It's ok thanks for coming over" Aunt Jessie replied as Mum walked back to our car, I got strapped into my car seat, Mum went back to get the dogs who were put in the boot, Mum got in and drove to Grandpa and Granny's house, we brought Rex out and left Lisa, Grandpa opened the door and let us in,
"Where's Gary?" Grandpa asked
"Thats what I have come to talk to you about" Mum replied
Granny made us all some tea while we sat on the sofa, Mum took a few sips of her tea before starting.
"I'm really sorry for not telling you when it happened, I should have told you when it happened because you two should know.. but um he- Gary died on the 29th of April. I was actually going to break up with him the day after but he died.. I'm sorry." Mum told them sadly,
"Oh no.. thanks for telling us" Granny said as they grabbed some tissues and wiped their eyes, after a bit she spoke up again, "please tell us the whole story.."
So mum told them how Gary wouldn't look after her animals or help her with me, she told them how she found him passed out from drinking lots of alcohol, and that we found him dead the next day, she told them how she had moved out into bed and breakfast then moving into her new home.
Granny and grandpa listened to her story.
"So basically, Gary died from drinking too much alcohol?" Granny asked and Mum nodded, Rex jumped onto the sofa and cuddled Granny, she hugged him back
"Would you like to keep Rex? Or Alberto?" Mum asked
"No thank you but thanks for the offer" Granny replied
"Are you sure? Because I'm thinking of selling Alberto"
"Yes, have you got his funeral sorted?"
"No"
"Oh ok, we'd better get that sorted, shall we go to the funeral director?"
"Yeah can you make it tomorrow afternoon after 4?"
"You bet I can"
"Ok I'll see you there, we need to go now sorry, we've had a busy day and Annie needs to go to bed she hasn't had a nap all day"
"Thats fine"
Granny saw us to the door and hugged Rex then waved bye,
"Bye bye"
"Bye thanks for having us" Mum said as she put Rex in the boot, checked Lisa then put me in my car seat, she then got into the car and drove home, mum fed me my bottle then put me to bed where I fell asleep straight away, there was a flash and a loud click but I ignored it as I was too tired.
