Steven's eyes were filled with disappointment

Steven's eyes were filled with disappointment. He made sure to keep his words to me at a minimum. I couldn't blame him. I put myself in his shoes. If he called me another woman's name during sex, I'd be livid.

He was so loving with Ky. He cuddled our baby girl and made sure to give her kisses before he left. I felt empty at that point I was nothing more than a woman holding his daughter.

I needed to get the situation off my chest. My mom is too judgmental and my sister is always busy. Raven had time so I called her. I told her everything. The first word out of her mouth was, "Kassandra."

Now, I know I'm in trouble.

"I don't want to take sides. Yes, you've loved and lost, but that's not Steven's burden to bear." She got straight to the point.

"You're right Raven. I just feel like I gave up so much of myself for him. I held onto him too tight. I want to find myself again Rae. Whoever that is. "

"He gave up things for you too, Kassie. He stopped talking to his uncle and mother for you. Any negative action towards you was dealt with." Raven continued to talk sense into me while I put Kyla in her baby carrier.

Being attached to me is her favorite thing. I kissed her little hands as I paced around the house listening to Raven. She gave me a list of things to be grateful for and some ideas I could use to apologize to Steven.

She didn't need to give me advice on my husband. I know Steven. He requires total and complete obedience  to forgive me. He has to know he's the most important person in my life because that's where he puts me.

I called his secretary to make sure he didn't have a business lunch to attend with any partners or clients. His schedule was open. I cooked his favorite meal, packing it in the cute Tupperware Jade sent me. Kyla and I put on one of our many mommy and me outfits.

She whined as I placed her in her carseat. "It's okay baby girl. Let's go see daddy." The gentle motion of the car settled her down. The left lane of the freeway was blocked. "This shit better not make me late." I talked to myself. I needed to be there on time. I made it with five minutes to spare.

"Two days in a row." Mr. Conyers, an older gentleman in his late fifties commented. "That hasn't happened since before little Miss was born." He pointed at Kyla's stroller.

These people are so damn nosey.

"Yes, it's a very important day." I continued my walk to Steven's office.

The blonde bimbo from the other day is sitting in his office again with Ms. Deborah by her side. I trust my husband one hundred percent, but the whole situation makes me uncomfortable.

"Kassandra, what are you doing here?" Steven's words throw me off. They weren't sweet and calm like they usually are. They were rough. The same way he'd talk to a stranger on the street.
