Narration
Jaxon woke up in the middle of the night and saw Kenzi sleeping on the sofa. He put a blanket on Kenzi before going to the bathroom, but little did he know Kento wasn't actually sleeping.
'This hard-headed brat.' Says Kenzi in his mind after Jaxon didn't wake him up to ask for help.
When Jaxon came back, he almost had a heart attack when he saw Kenzi sitting on the sofa, crossing his arms and legs, and staring at him.
"Gosh, akala ko ba tulog ka na?" Jaxon
"Mukha ba akong tulog?" Kenzi
Kenzi stood up and walked forward toward Jaxon.
"Wha...what?" Jaxon nervously asked.
"Dapat ginising mo ako, paano na lang kung may nangyari sayo? May lagnat ka pa oh.." Kenzi annoyingly said to Jaxon while he put his palm on Jaxon's forehead to measure the fever.
"O...Okay naman na ako." Jaxon
Kenzi supported Jaxon until they reached the bed.
"Are you hungry?" Kenzi asked.
"Hindi.." Jaxon replied
"Then you should go back to sleep." Kenzi
When Kenzi was about to leave Jaxon's side, Jaxon pulled Kenzi's shirt hem.
"May kailangan ka ba?" Kenzi asked gently.
"Uhmmm...di..dito ka..matulog sa ta..tabi ko.." Jaxon said while looking down and biting his lower lip.
"Why? Are you scared?" Kenzi playfully asked Jaxon and hiding his smirk.
"Y...yes.." Jaxon
But the truth is, Jaxon only wanted Kenzi to sleep in a more comfortable place.
"Okay, don't worry, I'll keep my distance.." Kenzi assuring Jaxon.
Almost thirty minutes has passed and the two still wide awake.
"May pasok ka pa mamaya di ba?" Jaxon
"Don't worry about it." Kenzi
"I'm sorry, dahil sa'kin naaabala ko pati trabaho mo.." Jaxon
"Don't say that. Hindi mo ako kailanman naabala." Kenzi
Kenzi noticed that Jaxon was shivering from the cold and eventually pulled Jaxon to him to keep him warm.
"This will do, right?" Kenzi
"Yes.." Jaxon
"Matulog ka na, gigisingin na lang kita mamaya."
"Ikaw rin.."
"Good night, Jaxon.
"Hmmm.." Jaxon fall asleep minutes after Kenzi embraced him.
Morning at 08:38 A.M
Jaxon's
"Kenzi! Late ka na sa trabaho!" pasigaw kong sabi upang maging sya.
Ngunit niyakap nya lang ako sa bewang habang nakapikit pa.
Nananaginip ba 'to?
"Kenzi, gumising ka na. Mag a-alas nuebe na oh!" sigaw ko ulit sa kanya at inalis ang mga braso nyang nakayakap sakin pero mas lalo nya lang hinigpitan ang pagkakayakap.
