Ch 25. Love bite

"Buuuuuuuum!" I heard Iris scream from the bathroom so I rushed to her thinking something has happened with only one sock on my feet and the other one on my hand.

"You okay?" I panted as I looked at her staring at herself in the mirror while we're getting ready to head out for our trip. We barely had any sleep and decided to get up early to prepare our stuff.

"How do I hide these!" She said in an exasperated expression and craned her neck scanning the severity of love bites scattered all over her white skin.

I chuckled and scratched the back of my neck. "Akala ko napano ka na."

She looked back at me harshly with an 'unbelievable' kind of look. "Bummy! We're gonna be with your sister and your Nana, what would they'd think of me if they see these?" She pointed at the dark shades of red on her neck.

Point taken.

"Okay, my bad. Let me go ahead and look for some clothes that can hide... those." I gestured earning a glare from my cute Mavy boo.

"And also, I don't have any clothes with me to bring. Why so biglaan kasi Bummy boo." She frowned as I heard her say as she trail behind me barefooted.

"Don't worry about it, you can use my clothes." I smiled at her and felt her hand hugged me from behind while I'm struggling to put my other sock.

"Wag na kaya akong sumama, bummy boo?" She pouted on my shoulders.

"Uh uh. You're going with me." I pulled her in front of me and now I'm the one hugging her small frame from behind while we rock side to side.

"And besides, this gonna mean the world to Nana." I added kissing her cheeks softly.

"And now you're suddenly using Nana card on me huh?" She chided making us both chuckle.

I sat at the edge of the bed with her on my lap still hugging her from behind. "I wish we can just stay like this." She sighed and I felt how she sink herself more into my arms.

Moments like this are so precious to treasure.

"What My Mavy wants, My Mavy gets." I rubbed my nose against her cheeks and heard her giggle. This kid!

We we're enjoying the moment to ourselves when my phone rang flashing my sister's name. We both looked at it before picking up the call.

"Hey, Viv." I greeted putting her on a speaker phone.

"I'm on my way up to your penthouse." I saw how panic strike her face when she heard what my sister said.

"You better be wearing clothes, Kimmy." Viv has really a big mouth.

"You're on speaker, Viv."

"Hi, Iris!" Genevieve greeted Iris who was sitting on my lap.

"Hi, Viv." Iris reluctantly replied with a shy smile, not sure how to address my sister.

Just after that, the doorbell rang startling the both of us. Iris scurried over to the bathroom to hide because she's just on her underwear. I rushed over to my closet grabbing the first clothing item I spotted which was a white short and my grey snoopy hoodie and followed suit in the bathroom.

After handing the clothes to Mavy, I hurried to opened the door coz I know how fast Genevieve gets impatient.

"What are you doing here?" I asked incredulously standing on the way.
