"Ya!! Don't run!! You're gonna fall!"

Taehyun ran as fast as he could and stopped when he reached the canteen. He panted with his hands on his knees and checked the time on his watch.

"I'm- on- time..."

He sat down on one of the benches. Soobin, who was running after him sat down beside him, also panting.

"YA! I'm so fucking done with this-"

"SHH! he's here"

Taehyun straightened his back. His eyes lit up the moment he saw his crush walking out of his class. His heartbeat increased and he felt butterflies in his stomach.

"Why is he SO CUTE?!"

Soobin sighed and shook his head.

"You know what... I'm telling him about you-"

"DON'T"

Taehyun held Soobin's arm before he could get up.

"You're crazy for doing all this! Just go and confess, what's the worse that could happen?? And to be honest, I don't think he's even going to reject you-"

"Hyung."

"What?"

"You know I can't do it.."

"Why?? What's the problem?"

"I just... can't... imagine a stranger coming up to you and saying he likes you... He would think I'm a creep"

"Not after noticing how you stare at him every day.. you've been stalking him for what... six months??"

"I'm happy like this... I don't want to make things awkward... and I don't think I'll ever have the courage to do something..."

Taehyun said, smiling as his crush walked closer. He knew he would never approch him and neither would Taehyun himself. He was happy with their eye contacts that didn't even last for a second.

'He would atleast look at me if he knew me.. he would atleast look...'

Taehyun sighed and stood up, confusing Soobin.

"You're leaving already?"

Usually Taehyun would sit and stare at his crush until he left. Taehyun lived in the dorms that were right in front of their uni but his crush lived in a flat that was probably far away.

"Yeah.."

"But Beomgyu just came-"

"Hyung! don't say his name out loud.."

"Sorry sorry... your 'cutie' just came so why are you leaving?"

"I'm tired hyung... I don't know... I think I should just stop.. I'll only make it worse and harder for myself if I keep looking at him"

"Taehyun... it's not like that-"

"I'll be fine... Yeonjun hyung's class just got over too.. you can go meet him, I'm going to the room"

Soobin sighed and watched Taehyun leave. He stared at him until his figure disappeared. He then turned around and went to meet Yeonjun, his boyfriend, who was also in canteen, probably waiting for him.
