Beomgyu's mom entered inside and sat on the bed, caressing Beomgyu's head who was laying down.

"Mr. Choi is coming for dinner with his family today.. make sure to get ready till 7 okay?"

"Uh whyy?"

"They always visit every two weeks love.. what happened? You used to love it when they visited.. You are even good friends with Soo-"

"I... nothing... I'll get ready"

He stood up and went to the bathroom to avoid any further conversation with his mom. He opened his phone and stared at his text messages.

Beomgyu sighed and turned it off again. He stared at himself in the mirror, letting his mind overthink again.

'Does he not love me anymore.. Maybe he.. maybe he found someone new... why is he coming here today then'

Beomgyu turned the shower on and got in fully clothed. He sobbed and cried silently. He was worried about him but now that he knew he was coming today, he suddenly started feeling bad for himself.

Was he the only one worried?

Their parents knew they were good friends but not that they weren't just friends. Beomgyu didn't want to see him tonight but he knew it was impossible.

He got ready and walked out of his room to help his mom in setting up the dishes and table.

"Are you okay honey? Do you have a cold?"

"A little...maybe I guess I showered for too long"

"Oh make sure to take the medicine okay?"

Beomgyu nodded and started putting the plates on the table. He was so lost in his own thoughts that he didn't even hear the bell ringing. He heard the commotion and looked up, meeting the eyes of the person he didn't want to see.

He immediately looked away, and smiled at Mr. and Mrs. Choi.

"Hello uncle, Hello auntie"

"Our Beomgyu looks so handsome today as well"

They all hugged each other and the parents didn't fail to notice how Beomgyu just ignored Soobin.
