{ALEX POV}

The club was filled with tons of people. We were playing a gig today at a local club. Willie's here and so is Flynn. As I was prepping up there was a fan backstage who tapped my shoulder. I looked over to them and they softly smiled. (lifers can see them now)

"Hi?" I greet questioningly.

"Hi.. I have a backstage pass and I really wanted to meet you!" the fan cheerfully says.

He was short; I would say 5'6" and he had ash brown hair with circular glasses. He had freckles on his face and some butterfly stickers. I nod and fixed my posture.

"What's your name?" I ask.

"I'm Jerry.. You can call me Jer!" he squeals. I smile and took mt hand out of my pocket to shake his hand.

"I've wanted to see you since.. well forever!" Jerry exclaims. I patted his shoulder as I chuckle.

"That's cool!" I say gently.

"Can I whisper something to you?" he asks softly.

"Go ahead," I leaned down for him to speak into my ear.

{WILLIE POV}

I walk backstage to go see Alex and tell him they're on on five. I walked through a hallway and turn my head and saw Alex talking to a fan I guess. I was walking towards them both but I stopped myself from doing so. It looked like Alex was about to kiss the boy.. that jerk.

"What the fuck..?" I mumble. Alex turns his head in utter shock.

"It's not what it looks like Wils.." he softly says. I shake my head vigorously.

"You stupid fucking jerk!" I call out as I ran out backstage quick.

I saw Alex follow behind me which led me to stop. I was outside the doors of the club and heard Alex panthing.

"Willie I'm telling you.. it's not what it looked like," the blonde boy says as he slowly cries. My body turns to him and I shake my head carefully.

"Really? You expect me to believe that?" I question him as I pout angrily.

"He wanted to whisper something to me Wils. I swear! Please listen!" he scolds.

"No.. I should've known this would happen. Our relationship was falling apart already anyway. If we had never gotten together, it would have saved us from grief," I furiously say.

"So, what? Are we taking a break..?" the blondie asks as tears kept going down his emerald green eyes.

"I think it's better if we just stay away from each other.. goodbye Alex," I greet Alex one last time before skating away.

My heart shattered into pieces. I regretted my decision soon after I left. If only I could turn back and apologize but, that would just make me go back to grief once more.
