{WILLIE POV}

I sat on the carpet of my room, depressed. I lost Alex last week; who wouldn't be depressed? I stared at the plain black wall infront of me. I reflected some stuff.

I layed down on the grass as Alex picked up flowers. I smiled as he came back with a flower crown on his head.

There'll be no summer

Alex and I sat outside a coffee shop. With coffee in our hands, and the roses in the bushes grew. I tell him he was the most gorgeous rose there is.

There'll be no spring

If not for this love of mine

I drew a thorn on Alex's arm. He asked for me to draw anything and so I did. Alex asks why the thorns had no flowers. I tell him he is the flower.

Thornes without flowers

I sat on the chair of the bar. I felt lonely since Alex wasn't with me. It hurt to see him dead.

Bars with no drinks

If not for this love of mine

I get up from the carpet, turn down lights, and plop on my bed. I stared at the popcorn ceiling and tears fell. Since of my depression lately, I've rejected each one of the parties Luke invited me to. I couldn't go without Alex. Not yet.

All the lights

All the parties would just fade out

Shut them down

I recall some sweet things Alex had said to me. Like the time he said his drums were better since I was there. I sobbed even more.

If not for you

I wouldn't sing anymore

I see Alex crying on the bathroom floor. I approached him and calmed him down. He managed to get on his feet and thanked me for comfort.

I wouldn't get off this floor

I sobbed each passing minute. There was no longer an Alex with me. No more. It felt like hell had gotten me.
