{JULIE POV}

Flashback

I was in the studio playing the grand piano. My dad bursted down the doors and rushed over to get my fourteen year old self. He rushed me to the car with Tia Victoria in the front and Carlos beside me. I didn't know what was happening. Dad rushed to the hospital and we all went inside.

"Victoria take care of my kids," my dad peeped as he walked towards my mom's room.

"Tia, what's happening? Is there something wrong with mom?" I distraughtly say.

"Not at all.. don't worry mi vida," Tia Victoria says. I knew she was lying, there was just something there.

"Stay here Julie. Watch Carlos," Tia says as she runs to mom's room.

I patted Carlos's head. He turns to me and his eyes was watering. My own eyes started watering too.

"Is there something wrong with mom Jules?" he asks as the tears scrolled down his cheeks.

"I hope not.. let's just hope.." I answer.

My dad soon came out with tears. I knew exactly what happened. My dad didn't even need to tell me. I was so hurt inside. Carlos tugged my shirt and begged for an answer.

"Is mami okay?! Answer me Julie!" he questions as he continues to tug my shirt.

"I'm so sorry Carlos.." my dad replies to him instead as he leans down to hug him.

Now all of us were crying. Dad, Carlos, me, and probably Tia also. The doctors let us in the room and there I saw my mom's dead body. She looked pale and out of life. I broke down again.

I held her hand tight as I did. My dad hugged me from behind knowing I was hurt. Cancer killed my mom. I can't even believe it. I don't believe it. Tia had Carlos in her arms. We were all around my mom's dead body now. I miss her already. She brought so much to me. She brought me to music, baking, and so many more. I can't let go..
