Adalyns point of view
I had a pounding head ache. The smell of chemicals lingered. My eyes shuttered opened. They felt like cement. I looked down to see my hands tied up to some sort of pipe. I began to panic. "Help help!!" I screamed no one heard me my voice just echoed off the walls. The white empty walls. There was a window near by, I leaned over peering out, the rope cutting my wrists. It was dark out. How long had I been out? And who kidnapped me. It was so cold by the Looks of it I was below the third class.
No one would find me down here not even the shops designer, my fiancé. I could help but tear up when I thought of thomas. I hoped he was looking for me I missed him.
Every bit of him.
It was a while before I realized the water seemed higher. Much higher then before, in fact the waves were lapping then bottom of the window.
Panic set it. "Help help, HELP ME!!!" I screamed until my voice was hoarse. I began to grow tired again. It had been hours since I'd last had anything to eat I missed late breakfast. I was alone cold and hungry. And by the Lola of it the ship was sinking.
I hoped I'd see mom and dad again. But at this rate I would be dead before the morning if the ship kept bowing.
Lost in thought I neglected to realize I had a visitor. The small figure lurking in the shadows had an unturned moustache, glasses and dark brown hair. From what I could make out anyways.
"My dear my darling how are we this wonderful night?" The malice voice chimed from the shadows
"Let me go! There's people looking for me I'll have you know I'm from the first calls I'm a hugh!!" I trembled
"Oh I know darling after all your the reason I was locked up like a sardine!!" His voice grew angry. It was to my surprise when Ismay emerged from the shadows inches away from my face.
"You won't get away with this you won't!!! Thomas will have you killed! Get away from me!"
"Oh but darling it looks as though I have haven't I? You see with the sheer panic spreading through the ship right now as people fight for there lives with less then enough life boats, you will be a sheer memory for those who have loved you. Your little fiancé is trying to save the day and your parents are all on there way to a life boat. So it's just you and me as the ship founders and the light flicker out to a dark glow you'll be at the bottom of the coldest sea my dear. And your fiancé will have either died looking for you or jumped on a life boat against the captains wishes. Shall we make it a betting game love?"
Inches from my face with a smug look I spit in his face.
I watched as his face contoured into sheer anger. Before I could this he slapped me as hard as he could. "Well that wasn't very lady like was it, you pathetic woman your nothing more than a Whore, I saved Thomas from you." He wiped his face and took a few steps back, in fear I would spat on him once more. I could feel my right eye swelling it was definitely bruised but I couldn't think about a measly black eye right now I had to get out of here. For the fear of the cold sea was rising and this boat would fail before sunrise know one knows where I am and my hands are tied.Cliff hanger; will Adalyn get free will Thomas wait for her? Find out in the next chapter :)
