"Alright!" Ms. Yukizome claps her hands. "This will be your room for tonight!"
"All of us?" Fuyuhiko asks.
"We're all expected to sleep in here?!" Kazuichi explains, giving the room a wide-eyed look.
"Yep! Everyone except for me will sleep here in this room tonight."
The entire class has been made to file in a rather small cabin. It had five sets of bunk beds in it, meaning it had ten beds in total. It's in a cabin not too far from the main lodge. While the cabin itself wouldn't be bad for ten students to stay in, you're not sure how it'll be able to fit the entire group. You're a bit weirded out by the fact your teacher wants every single one of you to stay in it when the main lodge apparently has a few rooms in it as well. You're also used to girls and boys sleeping in separate places.
"Ooh!" Teruteru seems more than happy to share the cozy space with everyone. "This is some free-range stuff, isn't it? Leaving the boys and girls to mingle together here at night."
Hiyoko scowls and glares at him. "Ew, if you get near me, I'm seriously going to kick you so hard your skeleton will crack into a million pieces!" She swings around to glare at Mikan, who is standing to her left. "You too, pig!" She barks
Mikan whimpers and takes a step back. "O-okay, I'm sorry!"
"I know I'm pointing out the obvious here, Ms. Yukizome, but there aren't enough beds here for all of us." Mahiru takes a step closer to the ginger-haired teacher, looking at her in confusion. "How are we all supposed to sleep like this? Do you expect some of us to sleep on the floor?"
"That's for you guys to decide!" Chisa explains with a giggle. "Think of this as some sort of test. You're all such bright little students, so I'm sure you'll be able to arrange something. Remember, you do have your class rep now." She looks over at Chiaki and winks.
The Ultimate Gamer seems a bit coy as she nods. "Y-yes, you're right. I'll help everyone settle in here."
The teacher gives her a nod of approval. "Okay then! Everyone, meet me in the main lodge right after you've got all your stuff organized! There should be a meal waiting for you all already."
With that, the energetic teacher leaves you all alone in the cabin, closing the door behind her.
"So, class rep..." Mahiru immediately turns to Chiaki. "What do you think we should do?"
"Make it quick! I'm starvin'!" Akane looks like she's about to burst out of the cabin already. She's even drooling a little. "If there's food to be eaten, we can't let it get cold, can we?"
Chiaki nods. "We're all tired from the ride here. Why don't we all just leave our bags in a nice little pile in the middle of the room for now? We can decide our arrangements later?"
"Good idea!" Akane immediately dumps her bag in the middle of the room and leaves. Ibuki, Nekomaru, Hiyoko, Gundham, Sonia, and Kazuichi immediately follow suit.
"I'll sleep on the floor," Nagito says after the immediate chaos is gone. "There's no need to worry about where I'll sleep." He puts the two bags he was carrying gently down next to the pile.
"We'll decide that later," Chiaki says in an almost firm tone as she sets her own bag down on the floor. "We should just see what we're going to do for now."
You and Nagito both nod and follow her out of the cabin. You make your way to the main lodge, which is about a minute away from the room where you'll be spending the night. Just like all the surrounding cabins, the lodge is made out of wood. It has a very cozy look to it that makes it feel warm and inviting. It's also rather large, making you wonder what's all hidden inside.
As soon as you open the door and step into the lodge, you catch a whiff of a very delicious scent. Lunch is waiting for you, and you can tell whatever it is will be pretty darn good. You look around at the lodge, pleased to see that it's quite spacious. You know by now that this class needs a lot of space to move about and do its thing. There is a large open area that has a bunch of leather couches and chairs in a semi-circle in front of an unlit fireplace. There are a few coffee tables there, as well as a shelf that has some books and board games. On the opposite end of the room is a dining area that has three large rows of tables, one of which has plates of freshly-made food on top of it. There's a kitchen there as well, which has a cafeteria-style window where you're supposed to pick up your food, though that is closed, likely because the food is already out on the table instead. Between those two ends of the large space are tennis and fuzeball tables. Off to the right near the fireplace is a hallway, which looks like it must lead to the rest of the rooms in the lodge. Although the ceiling in this room is slanted, you know that there's at least one or two more floors tot he building. You saw that when you were standing before it outside.
You can tell that you are already going to have a blast there.
"Come on, (y/n)! Let's go find a spot before they're all taken." He smiles at you and walks over to the table where all the food is. Most of his classmates are already there. Akane has already begun digging into the food even though you're pretty sure everyone was supposed to wait.
You gleefully follow your bestie over to the table, aware of your stomach now rumbling for you to eat. The food smells amazing and from what you can see it also looks amazing as well.
Whatever happens, you're sure it'll be extremely fun!
