"I still think you should report him," Ella said.
Y/N sighed. "Yes, I know." The young adult sighed as she flipped one of the pancakes that she was cooking. "You've said that...many times."
"Just hear me out, Y/N," Ella pleaded.
"No," Valeria spoke before Ella could finish. "Hear us out!"
"Ella and Valeria are valid in their concern," Mary spoke up as she leant against the counter next to the stove and tilted her head to catch a glimpse of Y/N's face. "You know that, dear," Y/N felt her cheeks erupt in a heated flame as she averted eye contact and tried to simply look at the round, fluffy food before her. She pressed her lips into a thin line as a self-conscious feeling washed over her. She suddenly released how rattling it was to express any sort of romance in front of her siblings. "Don't you?"
"Well," Y/N hesitated. "Of course, they're valid, Mary," Y/N let out a stubborn huff as she turned to face her siblings, trying to pretend she couldn't feel Mary's gaze on her. So serious and siren-like... "El, Val, I know you're worried."
"They're not the only ones," Lucas said. "Brock and I are worried too."
"Hell yeah, we're worried," Brock snapped. "And, angry too. I'm about ready to kick this guy's ass."
"Brock," Y/N rolled her eyes with a tight sigh. "Calm down."
"I wouldn't say I disagree with him," Mary spoke. "Even if his wording was...heathen-like."
Brock furrowed his eyebrows, unsure if he should take her words as a compliment or be incredibly offended by them. Y/N noticed this and quickly tried to distract Brock from whatever reaction he was about to act on. "I don't like Andrew, either. You know that, Brock. We all know that."
"So, why won't you do anything about it?" Valeria asked. "I mean, this could get him fired! We can't just have dirt like this on someone and not use it to our advantage!"
Ella sighed. "What Val is trying to say is that this is a perfectly acceptable reason to report Officer Polton."
"I..." Y/N frowned. "I don't want to cause any trouble."
