November 24th
The first thing Y/N noticed when she woke up was that she was lying in her bed. She looked around, taking in all the small details of her personal space...all while trying to figure out how she got there.
She certainly didn't remember driving home. In fact, she didn't even remember starting the car. Y/N furrowed her eyebrows. She sat there for a moment, simply trying to revive a useful memory that would give her some sort of information. But, she fell short. There was nothing.
Y/N shrugged her shoulders and threw her blanket off of her. She stood up and began to prep herself for the day. Despite how weird it was for Y/N to not remember driving home, she figured that it couldn't be as unnerving as she was making it.
It was late when she left, so it would be even later when she was driving home. It was perfectly believable that she was so tired her brain couldn't process what was happening, meaning her brain wouldn't be able to make a memory of it.
It had a perfectly believable explanation. So, why should she worry? She shouldn't. It was as simple as that.
Y/N grabbed a pair of sweatpants and a tank top. She quickly changed into them and turned to her vanity. Her vanity was pressed up against her wall right next to her window. Which was open.
"What?" Y/N asked herself. "I could've sworn I closed that..."
Nonetheless, Y/N made her way to the window and prepared to close it. But, she paused. There was another gift. Y/N tilted her head to the side and gazed at the present. This one was a medium sized bag, with ribbon wrapped around it.
"That's weird," Y/N mumbled. "The gifts only come at night."
She reached out her window and grabbed the bag. It was sitting on the grass outside, instead of her window sill that it was sat on all the previous times. After grabbing the gift, she retreated back into her room and closed the window. She locked it.
Y/N hid the bag in her closet before she left her bedroom and headed into the living room. As she entered she realized that none of the adults were awake, but all of the kids were.
All 9 of her nieces and nephews sat in the living room. Ezekiel, Audrey, and Annie all sat on the couch watching the TV. They were watching "Full House" reruns. Luis was sitting on the mattress that was lied out in the corner, also watching the TV, but not wanting anyone else to realize that he was interested in the show.
Cameron and MJ were playing with monster trucks in the other corner. Sara, Clark, and Dustin were sprawled out on the carpet, coloring in coloring books with their crayons and markers spread out across the floor.
Y/N quietly giggled at the wholesome scene in front of her. "Good morning, guys,"
All of their heads turned in her direction. "Good morning, Aunt Y/N,"
"How long have you guys been up?" Y/N asked, raising an eyebrow.
Ezekiel laughed sheepishly. "I may have pulled an all-nighter."
"Ezekiel," Y/N warned.
"It was only me, though!" Ezekiel quickly said. "They just woke up."
Y/N sighed and held back a smile. She understood that Ezekiel was just being a normal teenager. She remembered when she used to be like that, so she couldn't really hold it against him.
"Please, don't tell my mom," Ezekiel asked.
"I don't know..." Y/N trailed off. "Your mom is my sister. How about we make a deal?"
"Ok,"
"If you help me make breakfast, I won't tell your mom," Y/N said. "But, just this once."
"Deal!" Ezekiel exclaimed. He picked Annie up off his lap and jumped up before running into the kitchen.
