Stronger than the rest

Chapter 13

I walk back outside, the crown in my hand and a triumphant smile on my face.

"Why do you look so happy?" I turn to see Mikael and I smirk.

"I just got the homecoming crown." I state before crossing my arms. He stares at me before putting his hand in his inside pocket.

"You know, Esther knew more about your curse then she did with the others. she made it so Elijah will be your down fall." he appears in front of me and I flinch. "But he could also make you strong." he tucks a piece of hair behind my ear and it takes everything in me not to run.

"You want to kill klaus, you have to kill all of us." I hiss. "and I can't be killed unless you magically get Elijah to kill me."

"Oh, but I was willing to make you a deal, Angel." He says with a grin and I frown.

"What deal?" I ask and he laughs.

"If you think that way towards Niklaus, I might not even say." he goes to turn around but I grab his arm, twisting it slightly.

"I asked what. deal." I reply and the evil glint enters his eyes.

"Hello, Niklaus." I stand with my back against the wall, facing the hybrids, away from klaus.

"Hello, Mikael. Why don't you come in? Oh, that's right. I forgot you can't." Niklaus torments.

"Or you can come outside if you want." Mikael states.

"Or I could watch my hybrids tear you limb from limb." Niklaus says and I smirk.

"They can't kill me." Mikael replies.

"True. But it'll make a hell of a party game. All I have to do is rub these two fingers together and they'll pounce." Klaus says.

"The big bad wolf. You haven't changed. Still hiding behind your playthings like a coward. You only forget. They may be sired by you, but they're still part vampire. And they can be compelled by me." And female hybrid pushes Elena to Mikael. she glances at me with wide eyes as she finally noticed me the other side of the door.

"Come out and face me, Niklaus. Or she dies." Mikael states and her eyes widen.

"Go ahead. Kill her." Klaus says and her eyes dart to klaus.

"No, Klaus. He'll do it." Elena pleads.

"If she dies, this lot will be last of your abominations." I let out a low growl at Mikael and from the corner of his eye, he glances to me then back at klaus.

"I don't need them. I just need to be rid of you." Klaus replies.

"To what end, Niklaus? So you can live forever, with no one at your side? Nobody cares about you anymore, boy! What do you have other than those whose loyalty you forced? No one. No one." The older Mikaelson says

"I'm calling your bluff, father. Kill her." Elena's eyes dart back to me but I see something different, they aren't doe like.

"Come outside and face me, you little coward. And I won't have to." Mikael says.

"My whole life you've underestimated me. If you kill her you lose your leverage. So go ahead. Go on. Kill her. Come on, old man. Kill her. Kill her!!!" Klaus urges on and I know Mikael will.

"Your impulse, Niklaus. It has and will forever be the one thing that keeps you from truly being great." Mikael stabs Elena wit a dagger, she falls to the ground, dead. Klaus's eyes widen before I am shoved into Mikael and he holds me against his body, his hand around my neck as I look at klaus.
