Chapter 21

I leave Rebekah to talk with Elijah after I had a screaming match with her and getting changed into some jean shorts. Of course, the screaming match ended up with Elijah having to drag me outside. So, I decided to sit outside on elijah's car, waiting to be let back in.

"Angel..." I groan, opening my eyes to see Elijah. "you fell asleep on my car?" He wears a smug smile as I roll my eyes, sliding of the bonnet. the moment my eyes land in Rebekah... I feel rigid and rage.

"Angel... I'm sorry for sleeping with damon... it just... happened." She says and I feel the rage melt away. I can't be and at Rebekah for eternity, but I just need to stay away from her for a while.

"I'm going to find Niklaus and Kol." I state and Elijah steps in front if me, his hands on my hips.

"Don't be to mad at her." he whisper before placing a kiss between my eyes. "and don't get hurt."

"I just need some time away from her. And I'm practically immortal." I giggle at the last bit. "I love you." the words that leave my mouth have me stunned and Elijah smiles down at me.

"I love you too." I feel something wash over me... a sense of strong weakness if that is possible. A sense of humanity, of being human. Slowly, I stuff the bottom of the shirt into my shorts. I kiss his lips again before I feel something slip onto my middle finger of my left hand. when I pull away, I look down to see my daylight ring on my finger.

"I don't need this." I say, twisting it around my finger.

"It is yours, keep it." he kisses my nose, making me scrunch up my face before I vamp speed away.

"Decided to put some pants on." Kol teases as I slide in next to him.

"Hum... I doubt Elijah would have agreed with me with going without." I reply before compelling myself a bourbon. Klaus slide a into the seat next to me from the other side of kol.

"Care to stop gloating that you hooked up with our older brother, love?" Klaus groans and I smirk, sipping my drink.

"Now, if I stopped, I would have to find more ways to annoy you." I reply before Kol turns around.

"I remember her from last night. She looks like a tasty little thing." Kol states, pointing to Caroline. I roll my eyes.

"Say another word and I'll tear out your liver." Klaus snaps and I giggle, smirking with kol. "Caroline!" Klaus calls and the vampire walks over.

"Oh, it's you." She snaps and I grin at her.

"Join us for a drink?" I ask and her eyes glance at my attire.

"Mmm, I'd rather die of thirst. But thanks." She replies before walking away.

"Isn't she stunning?" I groan at Klaus's words.

"I'm the one gloating about sleeping with your brother, your the one taken with someone who will never go for you." I reply and he growls at me.

"She certainly looks good walking away from you." Kol says and klaus smirks.

"I'll take that as a challenge." Klaus stands and walks away, leaving me laughing with Kol.

"He is whipped." I state before taking a sip of my drink.

"I'm going to play pool." Kol states and I shrug.

"Go on, I'm drinking a river." I say with a smirk. he laughs before pecking my cheek and walking a way. I roll my eyes, downing my drink before getting another one. Suddenly, a sharp pain hits my heart and I gasp, my hand gripping my chest. Quickly, I stand up and run out the bar as the pain enters my mind. I whimper as I drop to the floor, tears stinging my eyes as the pain gets worse. i feel my body go limp as a blurry figure crouches in front of me. my eyes scan the face and I gasp.
