"Congratulations, we made it" Shane said to himself.
He saw everyone got out of the boat once they arrived.
"Creepy island to find a cure to end vampirism yeah okay" Layla said.

"They couldn't have hidden this cure in Hawaii where did you take us" Damon asked as Shane made his way to him.
"Seriously regretting coming already honestly having enough trouble sleeping anyways" Layla said.
"200 miles off the Nova Scotia mainland if you recall, the whole point was to hide the cure on the world's most obscure, desolate island" Shane said.
"Oh, yeah I thought the whole point was that no one found Silas, the oldest, deadliest freak in the world" Damon said.
"Yeah, that too" Shane said. "Sunscreen" he asked offering some to them.
"Is that a joke" Damon asked. "Right" Shane said. "Can we go now the sooner this is over sooner I can go anywhere but here" Layla said.
"Layla" Damon tried to say. "Don't Damon don't please just don't" Layla said and walked away.

Layla and Damon made their way to Elena when they saw her put a white oak on the backpack.
"Seriously it's bad enough you killed my boyfriend now you're trying to kill my sire and me" Layla said.
"Layla I" Elena tried to say but Layla stopped her. "Don't Elena just don't" Layla said.
"Why did you come here if you can barely even look at me or even Jeremy you haven't spoken a word to him since we arrived" Elena asked.
"Rebekah asked me besides it was better than screaming in my sleep which I have been doing since Kol died" Layla said and made her way to Rebekah.

Is anyone else a little creeped out" Elena asked. "So then leave out of everyone your presence is the least necessary" Rebekah said. "Please don't start" Stefan said.
"Jeremy has the spell on his body, Bonnie's the witch that unseals the cure, Shane is the human compass, Layla is a vampire banshee you and I have the tombstone which does god knows what and Elena has no point" Rebekah said.
"What about me" Damon asked. "You have a nice behind" Rebekah said and they continued to walk in silence until Shane broke the silence.
"Centuries after Qetsiyah died there were these minors who were excavating a well on the island they suddenly went mad they bled themselves dry no apparent reason so the legend spread that these minors in exchange for a drop of their blood saw visions of their lost loved ones in the well they were digging the word traveled and explorers sought out the well to see if the legend was true" Shane said.
"So, the well was magic" Bonnie asked. "A magical well yeah sure cause that makes sense" Layla said.
"Oh, yeah some people believe the voices of lost souls were just a wind vortex whipping through caves and visions were caused by inhaling the island's poisonous plant life" Shane said.
"What do you believe" Elena asked Shane. "I believe in magic" Shane told her.
"My wife and my son died within months of each other and so I decided to try the well out for myself I offered up my blood and I waited" Shane said.
"I saw my wife I saw her eyes her smile, my blood let me see her again" Shane said after a moment.
"Yeah, I got it don't eat the poisonous flowers" Damon said walking off with the others soon following him.
