After waiting for a while Elijah finally woke up and Layla and Elena immediately rushed to him.
"Elijah" Layla said. "Elijah" Elena said as he wasn't responding. "Katerina" Elijah said as he looked at Elena. "Elijah it's me it's Elena" Elena said to Elijah. "Shh it's okay" Layla said to Elijah.
"Oh my god" Elijah said and laid down then suddenly he started moving around on the ground.
"I can't, I can't breathe" Elijah said as he stood up.
"What's happening to me" he asked. Elijah sped to a wall causing Layla and Elena to stand up. "I can't, I can't be in this house" Elijah said.
"You're not invited in" Elena said realizing. "Then get me out of here" Elijah said and Elijah sped out of the house as Layla and Elena ran after him with Layla getting there first using her vamp speed.
Once Elijah saw Layla and Elena finally being okay, he went to go inside but was stopped as he wasn't invited in. "What happened" Elijah asked.
"Shh" Elena said and motioned to upstairs then her ear. "I'll tell you not here" Elena whispered.
"Can I trust you" she asked whispering. "Can I trust you" Elijah asked back whispering and Elena gave him the dagger.

Elena had parked the car with Elijah in the passenger side as he had finished drinking some blood. "You look better" Elena said.
"Where did you get the dagger" Elijah asked. "I'll tell you everything, but we have to work together Elijah I need your word" Elena said. "Your ability to make demands has long passed" Elijah said.
"No demands I'm offering you my help and in return I want yours" Elena said.
"And why should I even consider this" Elijah asked. "The same reason that you haven't killed me you need my help to kill Klaus, and I need you" Elena said.
Elena's phone then started to ring. "That be my brothers" Layla said and Elena answered her phone.
"Where are you, you guys okay" Stefan asked. "Yes, we're fine" Elena said. "Where's Elijah" Stefan asked. "He's right here" Elena said. "Where" Stefan asked.
"I'm on my way" he said. "No Stefan, Elijah, Layla, and I need some time alone" Elena said.
"Listen to me he can't be trusted he'll use you to get to Klaus" Stefan said.
"Elijah is a noble man Stefan he lives by a code of honor I can trust him he knows that I'd be incredibly stupid to betray him again by removing the dagger I have proven myself" Elena said. "You can't do this alone" Stefan said.
"I'm not alone I have Layla and it's my decision Stefan please respect it and make sure that Damon doesn't do anything stupid I'll be in touch" Elena said and hung up giving the phone to Elijah.
"He's here" Layla said. "Klaus is here" Elijah asked. "He's taken over Alaric's body" Elena said.
"Of course, he has one of his favorite tricks" Elijah said.
"Well, what are his other tricks what is he gonna do next you're the only one who knows him" Elena said. "Yes, I do" Elijah said.

Carol had opened the door once Layla, Elena, and Elijah had arrived. "Elijah, Layla, Elena what are you doing here" Carol asked before she noticed Elijah's state.
"What happened" Carol asked Elijah. "I've had a bit of a, incident Carol, I'm hoping you could help" Elijah said.
"Well, I'm on my way to a meeting so" Carol said and Elijah got closer. "We won't take but a minute of your time" Elijah said compelling her. "Of course, anything you need" Carol said.
