Layla woke up screaming incessantly again and instead of Klaus rushing in it was Rebekah. "Shh, shh I got you" Rebekah said hugging Layla.
"I'm not sure where Nik is but I'm here I got you" Rebekah said as she hugged Layla who was crying.
"I know it hurts I know and I'm so sorry I wish I could take your pain believe me love I do because I would in a heartbeat" Rebekah said as Layla continued to cry.
"Make it stop, make it stop please make it stop" Layla said.
"I can't I wish I could the only thing I could do was take your memories of Kol and I won't do that it's not what you or Kol would want the best I can do for you is to be here for you the best way I can" Rebekah said.
Layla said nothing as she just cried in Rebekah's arms and Rebekah let her.

Rebekah didn't dare leave Laylas side even as she slept Rebekah stayed right by her side. Klaus walked in the room and noticed the scene.
"How is she" Klaus asked his sister. "As well as she can be" Rebekah said shrugging. "She in so much pain Nik and this place isn't helping" Rebekah said as she looked at Klaus.
"What are we going to do" Rebekah asked. "I don't know" Klaus said honestly. Rebekah sighed as she looked at Layla.
"I wish Kol was here" Rebekah said as Klaus stays silent.
"If he was here, she wouldn't be going through all of this she was perfect for him" Rebekah said.
"That sister I can agree on she was but even with him not here she is still family we have to look after her or Kol would never forgive us" Klaus said.
"I know" Rebekah said as she looked at Layla watching her as she slept for once.

That night after what seemed like weeks Layla finally slept.
She dreamt of Kol but not of him dying. She dreamt of their times together causing a tear to fall in her sleep.
Dee down Layla knew this place was the reason for her dreams of Kol dying and her pain she knew she had to leave but the only question was, where would she even go.
