Layla made her way to Damon who was tied to a chair. "Wow big brother quite a position you're in wait is this a sex thing" Layla asked. "No baby sister it's not a sex thing" Damon said annoyed.
"Could've fooled me" Layla said as Stefan made his way over.
"What happened to you" Stefan asked. "Whatever twisted ripper game this is leave me out of it" Damon said.
"I didn't do this" Stefan said. "Quit screwing around" Damon told Stefan.
"I didn't it's pretty messed up though isn't it" Stefan said. "Yep" Damon said and Stefan took the wood out of Damon with Layla's help and broke the chains freeing Damon.
Stefan left as Layla and Damon noticed. "Yeah, not to worry I'll just untangle myself" Damon said.
"Oh, chill would you I'm right here" Layla said and untied Damon. "There, happy good I have places to be" Layla said then left.

"Tonight, we turn off our town's lights and flare up our lanterns in honor of the night of illumination started by our founders a 150 years ago here's founding family member Tobias Fell with a history lesson" Carol said and left the stage.
"And what are we doing here" Jeremy asked Alaric. "Tobias Fell is the head of the history department I didn't have a choice" Alaric said.
"Alright that explains what you're doing here" Jeremy said.
"Well, I'm the one who can fail you if you don't help me out" Alaric said and Elena made her way over.
"Hey sorry I'm late" Elena said. "What did I miss" Elena asked. "Uh you didn't miss anything" Jeremy said and Layla made her way over.
"Good I guess would've hate to miss something gossip worthy" Layla said.
Elena and Layla noticed Jeremy chuckling. "What is so funny" Elena asked. "Yeah what did we miss" Layla asked and Jeremy looked to Tobias Fell. Layla and Elena turned around and watched.

"I've been going through Stefan's old journals every single time that he's gone off the rails in the past his best friend Lexi's been the one to bring her back" Elena said.
"Aw Lexi she was a doll I loved her like a sister granted I never had one I got stuck with brothers" Layla said.
"So where is she now that we need her" Alaric asked. "She's dead" Jeremy told Alaric.
"And you want me to try to reach her don't you" Jeremy said to Elena. "I thought if I knew how she did it maybe I could help him" Elena said.
"Look I don't even know if she's on the other side" Jeremy said. "The other side" Layla asked. "Is that what it's called" Elena asked.
"Um that's what Anna calls it there's not like an official brochure or anything" Jeremy said.
"So, what is it some sort of supernatural purgatory" Alaric asked.
