Layla woke up in the early morning and saw Kol asleep beside her with his arm wrapped around her waist. She noticed her dress still on the floor before realizing she had a text from Elena.
She looked at it before putting it down sighing. She slowly got up without waking Kol and put her dress back on along with her shoes from last night. "Don't tell me you're leaving" Kol said.
"Unfortunately, yes" Layla said and Kol got up not bothering to cover himself. "Will I see you again take you on a date" Kol asked.
"You want to take me on a date" Layla asked smiling. "Yeah, I do" Kol said and Layla smiled and kissed him causing him to kiss back.
After a moment she pulled away still smiling. Smiling harder than she has in a very long time for as long as she's been alive. "It's a date" Layla said and left.
Kol smiled at her as he left finally feeling like that part of him he always felt died the night he became a vampire was coming back and it was all because of her.

Layla saw Elena on the porch about to knock and went to her. "Hey Elena" Layla said. "Layla hey why aren't you at home" Elena asked.
"I ended up staying over at the Mikaelsons I sort of had sex with Kol and by sort of I mean totally mind-blowing sex" Layla said.
"Wow wait you had sex with Kol Mikaelson" Elena asked. "Are you mad" Layla asked.
"No of course not Layla you been dreaming of finding the one maybe that's Kol I don't know but you have to see for yourself I want you happy" Elena said.
Layla smiled and was about to open the door when Damon opened it and Layla and Elena saw him with Rebekah.
"Well hello Layla baby Salvatore saw you with my brother he really took a liking to you then again I don't blame him you're my favorite Salvatore if it helps" Rebekah said causing Layla to give her a half smile.
"You slept with a Mikaelson" Damon yelled once Layla went inside with Elena while Damon put a shirt on.
"Yeah, pretty sure we established that" Layla said. "A Mikaelson" Damon asked again.
"Last I checked you are not my dad you are my big brother okay my big brother not my dad I am allowed to see whoever I want Damon even if that is a Mikaelson so shut up and deal with it cause for once I think I'm finally happy happier since I turned into a vampire" Layla said and Damon stayed silent.
Did you stop taking your vervain" Elena asked Damon changing the subject.
"Elena" Layla said surprised she would assume that Damon had to stop taking vervain in order for Rebekah to be interested in her brother.
"You think Rebekah had to compel me" Damon asked. "What's wrong with you" Elena asked him.
"She tried to kill me less than 48 hours ago" Elena said. "Can't we just move past that Elena" Damon asked.
"So is that how it's gonna be now I hurt your feelings, and this is how you lash out at me" Elena said.
"Well maybe for once something I did had nothing to do with you" Damon said. "You should know that Esther's planning on killing her entire family" Elena said getting Layla's attention.
"She's linked them all together with a spell whatever happens to one happens to all of them" Elena said.
Layla knew that they were doing this to keep Elena safe, but she didn't believe they all had to die for Klaus's doings.
And she was finally starting to be happy if she lost Kol now who's to say how long till she'll be happy again which makes her wonder why Elena would support her with Kol but then not tell her till now about them all being linked together.
