"Kol relax okay I'm safe I'm alive l I'm with Rebekah" Layla said on the phone with Kol after she left him alone to spend the day with Rebekah.
"Don't worry Kol I'll keep your girlfriend in good hands she won't die on my watch I assure you" Rebekah said. "Ugh alright fine but you cannot blame me for being worried" Kol said.
"I know but I'm safe your sister is an original too and last I checked I'm still part vampire" Layla said and Kol sighed.
"Alright" Kol said. "That's more like it, now we will talk soon okay bye now" Layla said and hung up.

Rebekah and Layla decided to have a night out needing some quality time together with just the two of them.
"So, my brother, tell me, how are things, with you two" Rebekah said.
"They're really good like I keep telling you" Layla said and Rebekah smiled. "Just making sure plus I have to check in on my hopefully future sister-in-law" Rebekah said causing Layla to laugh.
"I'm not sure we are that far yet, but I do love him more than I have anyone in an extremely very long time" Layla said and Rebekah smiled.
"He needs you Layla like it or not you are part of our family now and we protect our family" Rebekah said and took Layla's hands.
"You may be a Salvatore by blood, but you are a Mikaelson by heart now you are the light Kol has always needed you are his love and his weakness and that is a good thing you are the one thing Kol Mikaelson has been waiting for centuries and now he's finally found you " Rebekah said.
"I've been waiting for him too I just never realized it was him who I was waiting for" Layla said.
"I know but that doesn't matter what matters is you two finally found each other so never ever and I mean ever let each other ago" Rebekah said.
"I won't I promise you I won't" Layla said and Rebekah smiled.
"I know you won't and hey if you ever need me, I'm there okay I don't care what time of day it is" Rebekah said and Layla nodded.

Layla made it back to her and Kol's room and she saw Kol sitting on the bed. Kol looked up and saw Layla and smiled at her.
"There's my girl" Kol said the second he looked at Layla. "Tell me my love, how was your day" Kol asked. "It was fine but I'm glad I'm back" Layla said snuggling up to Kol on the bed.
"Oh" Kol said smiling as he kissed Layla on the forehead.
"Yeah, I counted down the minutes till I was in your arms again" Layla said causing Kol to smile bigger.
"Me too love" Kol said and Layla faced him smiling before he kissed her.
