It was the next day, and Layla was sound asleep on the bed in the motel room. Kol walked in and saw her and smiled at her before walking over to her.
He gently shook her awake and Layla immediately woke up smiling once she saw Kol.
"Morning" Kol said to her. "Morning" Layla said to him. "I went hunting thought you might need some blood" Kol told her.
"Thanks" Layla said as she sat up. "Here I put it in a glass" Kol said and gave it to Layla. Layla drank the blood once she seen it.
"So I was thinking" Kol said. "Uh oh what about" Layla asked.
"Our date" Kol said getting her attention. "Oh yeah what about it" Layla asked.
"How do you feel about surprises" Kol asked. "Usually not a fan but by the right guy I think I can make an exception" Layla said causing Kol to smile.
"Good get changed I'm taking you somewhere" Kol said.

"So where is he taking you for your date" Stefan asked her over the phone. "I don't know it's a surprise" Layla said. "A surprise huh" Stefan said.
"Yeah, a surprise and I'm usually not one for surprises" Layla said.
"Yeah, I remember back in 1864 over that one surprise you tried to beat me and Damon with a pillow" Stefan said.
"Good times" Layla said smiling at the memory. "Stef, can I ask you something" Layla asked.
"Yeah of course" Stefan said. "Am I crazy for going on a date with a guy I just met I mean especially after everything Klaus has put us through and the rest of his family" Layla asked.
"No I don't think you're crazy Layla regardless of how Damon or I feel or anyone for that matter you should go out with who makes you happy and not care what anyone thinks so what's right for you not everyone else and if it helps all Damon and I ever wanted was you happy even with a Mikaelson" Stefan said.
"Thanks, Stef you're the best older brother a girl could ask for" Layla said.
"Hey with you, you make it easy I'm always here for you Layla no matter how far we may be" Stefan said. "Thanks Stef" Layla said.
"I should go but talk later" Layla asked. "Of course, now go, go have fun on your date and be happy" Stefan said. "I will" Layla said and hung up.

"Where are you taking me" Layla asked as Kol had covered her eyes with his hand. "We're nearly there just a little longer" Kol said.
"I hope this is worth it" Layla said. "It will be just trust me okay please" Kol said. "Okay" Layla said.
"Thank you" Kol said. "We're here" he said once they reached their destination and uncovered Layla's eyes.
As soon as Kol uncovered Layla's eyes, she saw a candlelit dinner for two.
"A candlelit dinner no one has ever done this for me it's amazing thank you I love it" Layla said as she faced Kol.
"Good that's what I was hoping for" Kol said and kissed Layla.
After a moment he pulled away from the kiss. "Come on let's eat I compelled you the fanciest dinner in town" Kol said.

"So, tell me about the beautiful and lovely Layla Salvatore that I just can't seem to keep my eyes off of" Kol said.
"There's really not much to say" Layla said. "Come on there must be something even a small thing just, tell me anything it doesn't have to be big" Kol said.
"Okay alright fine but don't say i didn't warn you well you already know about how my dad used to hit me and the fact that I recently found out my mother isn't Lily Salvatore that I'm Damon and Stefan's half-sister after believing Lily was my mother I was never really that close with my mother or I guess adoptive mother at least not like Damon and Stefan but I was always close to my brothers especially Damon at least until he left me with Stefan then Stefan and I got closer and that's really about it nothing fascinating" Layla said and Kol smiled.
Kol had leaned in and kissed her. Layla smiled while kissing him back. Kol pulled away from the kiss and looked at her deeply in her eyes.
"I disagree I think everything about you is fascinating" Kol said and kissed her again.

"Okay Kol Mikaelson your turn" Layla said. "Tell me what am I in for" Layla asked. "Well before I was a vampire, I was a witch I loved it" Kol said.
"Really" Layla said. "Yeah, and then the second it was taken away from me I was devastated" Kol said.
"I can't imagine what that must've been like having something you loved just taken away from you must've been hard" Layla said.
"It was but I've adjusted quite like who I am now especially if it means with you" Kol said and Layla smiled.
"I'm not planning on going anywhere not ever your stuck with me Mr. Mikaelson" Layla said.
"Good because I don't want to ever be without you Layla Salvatore" Kol said, and Layla smiled at him as he smiled back.

Soon enough the date had ended, and Kol and Layla went back to the motel room, and they both sat on the bed.
"Well tell me how'd I do did I ace the date" Kol asked. "Hmm" Layla said as she pretended to think.
"I say yes very much so makes me excited for what you come up with for our next date" Layla said causing Kol to smile at her.
"Good and don't you worry love there's plenty more of that where that came from" Kol said. "Can't wait" Layla said.
