Dinner Plans

POV: Toya's
Day: Monday
Time: 5:58AM
Place: Bedroom

I woke up to my alarm waking me up. It's 6AM. My first class at Juilliard is at 8:30AM and that's far. I got up, made my bed and grabbed some clothes. I went straight into the bathroom, took a shower, brushed my teeth and got dressed. I didn't bother with the breakfast stuff. I went into the twins' room and kissed their foreheads. Bre and Stina are watching them today. I went back downstairs and grabbed my keys and phone, then headed out the door.I locked the door, got in the jeep and drove off.

I got to school and my face lit up. I wanted to go here since I was 6. I was so happy when I got the scholarship. I walked inside and Tevin was looking just as lost as I am. I ran over to him and he hugged me tight. I looked beside him to see the familiar shade of red hair. Lourdes. I jumped on her hugging her.

LoLo: (laughing) "It's good to see you too."
Toya: (pulling away) "When did you get here?"
LoLo: "Real early this morning. I only wanted to see this campus. I'm at NYU."
Toya: "Oh. You're staying with Tev and the guys?"
LoLo: "Yeah. Only for a few weeks though. My aunt is moving down here and she needs some help taking care of her baby."
Toya: "Oh okay."
LoLo: "Well I'm gonna go home and SLEEP. (kissing Tevin) Bye baby..Bye Toya!"

She walked out and Tev wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we walked around, trying to find the administration office.

T: "Oh yeah...Dinner tonight at our place. All y'all need to come."
Toya: "Aight."
T: "So how you feel?"
Toya: "Stupid."
T: "Did you talk to him?"
Toya: "I texted him before I went to sleep but he didn't respond. Shouldn't he be here?"
T: "Yeah..I don't know where he is though."
Toya: "There it is!" (pointing to a door)

We walked through the doors and picked up some information we needed. We have all the same classes so we went to Dance together. When we got to the door, I swung open before we could open it. O..kay.

?: "New students?"
Tevin: "Yeah."
?: "I'm your teacher. Mr. Smith around administration. Josh when they're not around."

We laughed and nodded as he let us in the room. Hard wooden floors, some chairs lined up on the wall and mirrors on the other three walls. Nice..Spacey too. He pointed over to some chairs so we went over there as some other students started showing us our routine for the term...Dayum.

POV: Jac's
Day: Monday
Time: 4:00PM
Place: Bedroom

I'm laying down on my bed, just thinking. Not in the mood for seeing Toya and Tevin all buddy buddy in school today. I might go tomorrow. I can't believe she doesn't trust me.

I got up and walked downstairs to see Trey playing video games. "Mane do you ever stop playing?"

Trey: "Yeah! A ni66a gotta eat!"

I laughed and walked into the kitchen to see Ray cooking.. a lot of food. "What's this for?"

Issa: "T (Tevin)invited the girls over for dinner so I'm gon' cook."
Jac: "When was I supposed to know about this?"
Issa: (giving me a duh look) "When someone told you!"
Jac: "So all of the girls are coming?"
Issa: "Yeah."
Jac: "Aight."
Issa: "I finally get to apologize to Toya."
Jac: "After three years?"
Issa: "T just told me a few days ago she said she would forgive me if I apologize so yeah..Why not?"
Jac: "Oh."
Issa: "He also said how she wouldn't stop talking about you."

My baby was talking bout me. =) "I miss her."

Issa: "You two need to cut all this sh-t out and just sit y'all aszes down and talk."
Jac: "😳"
Issa: (mumbling to himself) "Got me cooking like I'm a mother up in this Goddamn house. What they take this fo'?! Restaurant?!"

I slowly backed out of the kitchen. I guess all the cooking is getting to him. I have to find time to talk to her..But wait, what if she doesn't want to talk to me?
