New Stepbro Huh?

Time To Find Out..

POV: Toya's
Day: Wednesday
Time: 10AM
Place: Clinic

Right now, Que and I are sitting in the waiting room at the clinic with the twins. The nurse should be calling my name any minute now.

Alana: "Mommy. Why are we here?"
Toya: "I have to get something checked out."
Alisa: "Can't daddy check it out?"
Jac: (grinning) "I already check it out."
Toya: (laughing and nudging him)
Nurse: "LaToya Williams?"

Que and I stood up. The nurse took the twins to this play area where a bunch of other kids were. Que held my hand and we followed the nurse hand in hand. When we got to the room she told me to sit up on this high bed so I sat on it as she walked out. Que stood beside it and held my hand.

Jac: "You scared?"
Toya: "Kinda.."
Jac: (kissing my cheek) "Don't worry about a thing."
Doctor: (walking in) "Good afternoon. I'm Dr. Simmons." (sitting on a low rolling chair)
Jac&Toya: "Hi.."
Doctor: "So Ms. Williams..You wanted to know if you're pregnant."
Toya: "Yes."
Doctor: "Alright then.."

He told me to lean back and he lifted my shirt slightly and I got defensive and slapped away his hand. He was shocked and Que talked to him for a minute. The doctor left the room for a while then he came back. He nodded his head and Que came over to me and held my hand.

Jac: (talking in my ear) "Trust me..If he touches you wrong, I'll slice this ni66a."

I laughed and Que grinned at me. He winked as the doctor continued this very long and cold process, spreading this blue stuff across my stomach. He got this little hand-held scanner and looked at a screen for about two minutes until something came up.

Doctor: "Well.. =)"
Toya: "What?"
Jac: "Well..what?"
Doctor: "You are pregnant, Ms. Williams. 1 week exactly."
Jac: (smiling down at me)
Doctor: "You'll have to visit this clinic monthly, okay?"

I nodded my head and the doctor gave Que and I some time alone. He kissed me and we were smiling until we pulled away.

Jac: "3 kids. =)"
Toya: "3 kids. =)"

POV: Jac's
Day: Wednesday
Time: 11PM
Place: Kitchen

Right now, Toya and I are eating ice-cream back at home. We're not gonna tell the twins about pregnancy just yet but I'm excited. We finished up the ice-cream and went upstairs and laid down together. The twins went to bed hours ago.

I laid down behind her and wrapped my arms around her. "You excited?"

Toya: "Hell yeah."
Jac: "Do you think we'll be good parents to the baby?"
Toya: "Look at Lisa and Lana. We were good with them right?"
Jac: "You do have a point. By the way, our flight is Friday morning."
Toya: "Okay. We're taking the twins, right?"
Jac: "Yeah."
Toya: "Family trip. =)"

I love the way she said that just now. I kissed her cheek and we both fell asleep.
