POV: Toya's
Day: Thursday
Time: 7:30PM
Place: Apartment

I'm at home now, working on a file that Jac asked me to do. The phone started ringing. I got up and answered it. "Hello?"

Alana: "Mommy!"
Toya: "Hey baby, how was school?"
Alana: "Boring but I got an A in my math quiz."
Toya: "Good job. =)"
Alana: "Daddy wants to know if you wanna come over for dinner."
Toya: "Uh sure. I'll be right over."
Alana: "Yay. I love you."
Toya: "I love you too, boo."

Alana hung up and I smiled. I got up, went in my room and got dressed appropriately. I grabbed my phone and my car keys and headed downstairs. I got in my jeep and drove off.

POV: Jac's
Day: Thursday
Time: 9:50PM
Place: Kitchen

Right now, Toya is drying the dishes with Alisa while I wash the dishes with Alana. This is a really nice family moment. "And..we're done."

Alisa: "Yay! Now can we go play?"
Jac: "Nooo. It's late and y'all gotta get ready for bed."
Toya: (kissing my cheek) "I'll get them washed up, okay?"

I nodded my head as she held their hands and walked out of the kitchen.

POV: Toya's
Day: Thursday
Time: 10:05PM
Place: Bathroom

I'm giving the twins a bath and honestly, this bathroom is a little big for two little girls. But, it's still girly. I lifted them out of the tub and got them dried off. I got them dressed in their pajamas and blow dried their hair.

I took Alana in her room and then went to try and get Alisa to sleep in her room. I tucked her in and kissed her forehead. "Now.. You and that little boyfriend of yours. No kissing at all. No holding hands unless y'all playing games. Y'all can do short hugs. But if he grabs your behind...Call mommy, because daddy will kill him."

Alisa: (laughing) "Okay."
Toya: "Night boo. I love you."
Alisa: "I love you too."

I smiled and walked out of her room, closing the door quietly. I went into Alana's room to see her playing on her Nintendo. "Bedtime, boo." She looked up at me and smiled. She hooked it up to her charger and jumped up onto her bed and I tucked her in. I kissed her forehead. "Ease up on yo lil attitude."

Alana: "I'll try."
Toya: (laughing) "Night. I love you."
Alana: "I love you too, mommy."

I walked out of her room and closed the door. I walked downstairs to see Jac sitting on the sofa holding a bottle of champagne. "What's up?"

Jac: "Come here."

I walked over to him and sat down. He poured some out into two glasses and handed me a glass. "So what's up with the drinks?"

Jac: "Nothing.."
Toya: (taking a sip) "Can I ask you something?"
Jac: "Anything."
Toya: "What was going on with you after I got into rehab?"

He got noticeably tense and stared at me. "Quees!"

Jac: "Sorry.. That was just a rough time for me. Why'd you ask?"
Toya: "I was talking to Deja about it."
Jac: "Issa's sister?"
Toya: "Issa has a sister? I'm talking about the one from the office."
Jac: "Yeah..That's Issa's sister."
Toya: "Oh."
Jac: "Well what did she say?"
Toya: "Basically, she gave me examples of how you were moody over someone you love."
Jac: (holding my hand) "Well.. I was. I got sad because you weren't around and mad because you didn't listen to me when I said not to do that. I still worry about you going back to crack."
Toya: (laughing) "Back to crack?"
Jac: (laughing) "Seriously...(getting serious) I don't know what I'd do without you for that long, again."

I loosed my hand out of his grip and rubbed his cheek. "Jac, what you need to realize is that you already spent your money on me getting better. I'm not gonna go back to that stuff because I know how it messed everything up. You don't have to worry about that."

Jac: "I'll always worry but that doesn't mean I don't trust you."
Toya: (standing up and kissing his cheek) "I gotta go..You wanted me to deal with some paperwork, remember?"
Jac: (standing up and kissing me) "Be safe. I love you."

"I love you too." He walked me to the door and hugged me. I opened the door and walked out to my jeep. I got in and drove off.
