POV: Toya's
Day: Saturday a week later
Time: 10PM
Place: BET Awards, LA

The lights dimmed and I walked off stage with my dad (Breezy) following behind me. We just performed "All Up In The Hood". RJ and the twins are back in New York with the crew. I think Jac's here though.

My manager, Tori, handed me a bottle of water and a towel. I wiped off my face and dapped up my dad as he walked off towards some other celebrities. I handed her the towel and the bottle. "Thanks."

On the stage, they were calling off the nominees for "Song Of The Year". Jac and I are nominated in this category for our song "Ain't No Better Love". I hope he's out there. They were about to call off the winner and my heart was racing.

They said our names and I immediately felt myself being pushed so I smiled and walked out onto stage, hearing the crowd cheering. I looked towards the steps to see Jac walking up. I hugged the announcer, which was Beyonce and then she hugged Jac. He walked over to me and unexpectedly wrapped one arm around my waist walking over to the mic.

Jac: "Dang.."
Crowd: (laughing)
Jac: "Y'all don't laugh! I didn't expect this but I'm grateful for it. =)"
Crowd: (cheering)
Jac: (talking to me) "Go 'head."
Toya: (laughing) "Wooh. Our first award is a BET Award."
Crowd: (cheering)
Toya: "I wanna thank God, the crew of people who helped to get our music out into the world. My family, friends, our kids, the fans. And I also wanna thank Jac for being there for me every step of the way. Y'all really don't know how much I love him."
Crowd: (laughing) "Awwwwwww."
Jac: "I'd like to thank God, the record company, Toya's manager, my family and close friends, all the people who supported us and I especially wanna thank this gorgeous girl right on the side of me. Toya. I love you with all my heart and I appreciate you and everything you've done for me." (kissing my cheek)
Crowd: "Awwwwwww."
Us: "Thank you. =)"

Jac raised the award in the air and the crowd cheered as we walked off, going backstage. My phone started ringing and it was Bre. I put the phone on speaker. "Hey."

Them: (screaming) "CONGRATULATIONS!"
Jac: "Y'all watching the show, huh?"
Trey: "Of course."
Alana: "Congrats mommy and daddy!"
Us: "Thank you. =)"
Alana: "Lisa's sleeping."
Toya: "Oh okay. Kiss her good night for me and thanks guys."

They hung up and I placed my phone in the pocket of my pants. I looked up at Jacob and he was looking down at me. "Ummm.."

Jac: (scratching behind his neck) "Yeah-"
Tori: "Toya, your driver is busy and I'm leaving to go back to New York tonight. Want me to call a cab?"
Toya: "Uh-"
Jac: "I'll drive her."

She looked at me to see if I agreed and without thinking, I nodded my head.

Jac: "You wanna leave now or..?"
Toya: "Yeah. I'm staying at-"
Jac: "I know. We're staying at the same hotel."

O..kay. He grabbed my hand and we walked out of the building into the private parking area. I got in the passenger side of the Mercedes (his rental car) and he drove off.

We got to the hotel about 15 minutes later and I felt the urge to cry so I thanked him and hurried off into the hotel. I already forgave him but after how I treated him when he apologized..I don't know if he'll take me back.

POV: Jac's
Day: Sunday
Time: 12AM
Place: Hotel Room

Right now I'm chilling in my hotel room, watching a movie online. I wonder what was up with Toya. I got up, and went to the kitchen. I grabbed a can of soda off the counter but it was hot. "Ugh.." I grabbed the ice bucket, the room key, and walked out of the room. I went down the hall to the room where the ice machine was. Toya was in there standing by the vending machine.

She turned to walk out after getting her soda and I noticed her eyes were red and puffy. I stopped her. "Toya.. What's wrong?" She was gonna say something but instead she just burst out in tears. Forget the ice. I grabbed her hand and went back to my room.

I closed the door and took her into the bedroom. I laid down and pulled her on top of me. "Calm down." I wiped her tears with my thumb and wrapped my arms around her waist. "Now, tell me why you're crying?" She explained and I chuckled a bit. "Girl, are you crazy? Of course I'd take you back."

I flipped us over and wrapped her legs around my waist, tickling her. I gotta make her laugh, atleast smile. She started laughing and begged me to stop. "I don't want you crying no more, okay?"

Toya: (laughing uncontrollably) "Okay!"

I stopped tickling her and pressed my forehead against hers. "Besides, I prefer when you smile." I kissed her long and hard with passion and she ran her hands through my dreads. That's where RJ got that from. Mhm. I pulled away from her and she gave me a dumb look. "What?"

Toya: "Nuh-uh."

She pulled me back into another kiss and I smiled on her lips.
