Something Ain't Right

POV: Toya's
Day: Saturday
Time: 8PM
Place: Bre's House

"So what's been going on lately?" I said while sitting down on the sofa in the living room. I just kissed the twins good night and now I'm talking to Bre.

Bre: "I can't get TJ off that stupid pacifier!"
Toya: (laughing) "You gotta try harder."
Bre: "Girl..I'll ask Trey to try."
Toya: "Good idea."
Bre: "Well the BBQ today was...hectic."
Toya: (laughing) "How?"
Bre: "Well...Ummm-"
Toya: "Spit it out, Bre."
Bre: "Jac has a girlfriend."
Toya: "Okay."
Bre: "That's it?"
Toya: "Yeah."
Bre: "I know you better than that..What is really going through your mind?"
Toya: "Too much."
Bre: "How's your relationship with Ace?"
Toya: (lying) "It's good..I just.." (sighing)
Bre: "Miss Jac?"
Toya: "A lot."
Bre: "Why don't you talk to him?"
Toya: "Hello? He has a girlfriend. He wouldn't want me back."
Bre: "You don't know that."
Toya: "I'll call him once I get home." (standing up)
Bre: "Good." (hugging me) "See you later, girl."

"Night." I walked out of the house and got in my jeep. I drove off. While I was driving, I thought about some things. What Bre doesn't know is Ace is abusive. He beats and rapes me. I still love Jac but I guess the time for our relationship is over.

I pulled up to the apartment building and got out of the jeep. I walked inside the building and straight into the elevator. I pressed the button and waited. When I got up to my floor, I used the key to open the door. As soon as I closed it, I was punched onto the floor.

Ace: "Where the hell were you?!"
Toya: (crying and trying to stand)
Ace: (kicking me back down) "Answer me!"
Toya: "At Bre's house!"
Ace: (dragging me by my legs) "Come on..Let's go."

"No!" I screamed as I got out of his grip and locked myself in the bathroom. I can't take this anymore. I quickly dialed Jac's number. Please pick up.

Ace: "OPEN THIS DAYUM DOOR!"
Jac: (answering the phone) "Hello?"
Toya: (crying) "Que!"
Ace: "TOYA. OPEN THE PHUQQING DOOR!"
Jac: (worried) "Toya, what's wrong?!"
Toya: "Ace is trying to-"
Ace: (breaking down the door and knocking the phone out of my hand) "Oh yeah?"

I screamed as he punched me and threw me over his shoulder. He threw me down on the bed and started tearing off my clothes. Here we go again..

POV: Jac's
Day: Saturday
Time: 9PM
Place: Driving

I made a quick turn and started driving towards Tevin's house. Something ain't right. I don't know where Toya lives. The twins always go there but she brings them back to the house. I pulled up to his house and knocked on the door.

Tevin: (opening the door) "Mane, what the phuq is your problem?!"
Jac: "Something's wrong."
Tevin: "Okay.."
Jac: "With Toya, foo'!"
Tevin: "Oh sh-t no." (going in the house) "Where's my glock?!"
