Day: Sunday
Time: 10AM
Place: Starbucks

Jac called me really early this morning and asked me to meet him at Starbucks. Luckily, Ace had to go to work. I'm sitting down, waiting on him to come, drinking a Strawberry fappacinuo. He walked in and sat down in front of me.

Jac: "Hey..."
Toya: (setting down the cup) "Hi.."
Jac: "What's up?"
Toya: (looking down) "Nothing."
Jac: "Nae.."
Toya: "Yes..?"
Jac: "What's that?" (pointing at my face)
Toya: "What?"
Jac: "Is that a bruise?"
Toya: "No!"
Jac: "Toya, don't lie to me. Does Ace hit you?"
Toya: (scratching my arm awkwardly)
Jac: "Is that why you called?"
Toya: (nodding my head) "I needed help.."

...And I was actually already gonna call him because I miss him.

Jac: "What has he been doing to you?"
Toya: "I can't say."
Jac: (grabbing my hand from over the table) "Please tell me."
Toya: (tearing up) "Yes..He beats me and.."
Jac: "And?"
Toya: "Rapes.." (crying)

He walked around the table and sat next to me. He wrapped his arms around me and let me cry in his shirt.

Jac: "Why didn't you tell the police?"
Toya: "He threatens me."
Jac: "Are you gonna go back to your apartment?"
Toya: "It isn't mine. He pays the rent."
Jac: (nuzzling my hair) "Come stay with me."
Toya: "No..You have your girlfriend and the twins to worry about."
Jac: "How do you know about her?"
Toya: "Bre told me yesterday."
Jac: (rolling his eyes) "Still..Just come. We can go get your stuff."
Toya: "Uh..I don't know."
Jac: "Tevin is ready to kill somebody..I think you need to."
Toya: "I'll get my stuff by myself."
Jac: "I'm coming with you-"
Toya: "No. It's okay. He's at work."

I could tell he still wanted to come but he just nodded his head. "I'll be there later." I got up and grabbed my bag. I walked out of the building and got in my jeep. I drove off to the apartment.

POV: Jac's
Day: Sunday
Time: 11:05AM
Place: Driving

I'm not letting her go on her own so I'm using my Samsung Galaxy Tablet and tracking her phone. I pulled up to the apartment building and wow..This is in Manhattan. I got out of the Escalade and went inside. I went up to the desk. "Hi..I'm here to see LaToya Williams." The bellman gave me the room number and the floor. I went over to the elevator and got in.

I got up to the floor about a minute later and heard screaming coming from down the hall. Oh sh-t no. I called the police while running to the room. When I got there, I banged on the door a few times and eventually it fell down. This place is a mess. I went inside the bedroom to see him raping her. I grabbed the lamp, smashed it over his head and he knocked out.

I wrapped the sheet around Toya and picked her up just as the police came into the apartment. Dang that was quick.

After they left, I packed some of her clothes while she got dressed. I grabbed her bags and we headed downstairs. We left in our separate vehicles.
