Girls' Day Out

POV: Alana's
Day: Monday
Time: 10:15AM
Place: Stina's House

I'm at auntie Stina's house. She woke me up this morning because we're going out with mommy and auntie Bre.

I'm sitting down in the living room eating breakfast..Waffles with a lot of syrup. Yum.

Stina: (walking over) "Lana...Toya and Bre should be here any minute, okay?"
Lana: "Okay."
Stina: "Want some juice?"
Lana: "Yes please."

She walked into the kitchen and came back a minute later with some orange juice. "Thank you."

Stina: "No problem, sweetie. I'll be right back."

She went upstairs just as there was a knock at the door.

POV: Toya's
Day: Monday
Time: 10AM
Place: Driving

I'm in the car heading to Stina's place with Bre. We're all going to the mall with Alana. I guess she didn't want to stay with Jac. Me neither. That's why I'm moving out of that apartment and quitting. I still feel terrible about what happened though and my eyes are noticeably red from all the crying I did.

Bre: "So where are you moving to?"
Toya: "An apartment in Manhattan."
Bre: "Where are you gonna be working?"
Toya: "Haven't figured that out yet."
Bre: "Wanna work at one of the salons?"
Toya: "I'll think about it."
Bre: "Just let me know, now. I'd fire someone for you, girl!"
Toya: (laughing) "Alright."

We pulled up to Stina's house and I knocked on the door. Alana came and opened the door. I picked her up and hugged her. "Hey baby."

Lana: "Hi mommy. =)"

I set her down and she hugged Bre as we walked into the house. I closed the door just as Stina came downstairs.

Stina: "Lana, who was it?! (noticing us) Oh hey. Y'all ready?"
Bre: "Uh..Shouldn't we be asking you that?"
Stina: (taking some dishes into the kitchen and washing them) "Um yeah. Lana, grab my bag from the table, please."
Lana: (getting the bag)

"Aight..Let's go." We all got in my jeep and started driving off towards the mall. Time to buy some outfits for Tevin's Christmas party.

When we got to the mall, we went in the Polo store first for Alana. I bought outfits for her and Alisa. I got them some shoes then we headed to various stores to shop for me, Bre, and Stina's clothes. That took about two hours.

Now, it's time to take Alana back to Jac's house. We pulled up to his house and I lifted Alana to the doorstep, she's sleeping. Bre is carrying the shopping bags and her sleep-over bag. Stina's in the car trying to inhale the AC through her nose. I rang the doorbell.

Jac: (opening the door) "Hey."

Oh my sweet baby Jesus..He looks a hot mess. Awwww =( I gave Alana to him and Bre went to take the bags up to her room. "Hey."

Jac: (scratching behind his neck) "How are you?"
Toya: "Could be better."
Jac: "Why did the building call and tell me you're moving out?"
Toya: (giving him a dumb look) "'Cause I am."
Jac: "Where?"
Toya: "Don't worry about it."
Jac: (rolling his eyes) "Why didn't you go to work?"
Toya: "Because...I quit. Well not yet, but I'm telling you now."
Jac: "Ugh..How will you make money?"
Toya: "I'll find another job."
Jac: (sigh) "You're making this difficult-"

Bre came out of the house. "See you around, Jac." I kissed Alana's cheek and got back in the jeep. I drove off after Bre got in. I dropped Bre and Stina home and headed back to the apartment. Most of the boxes are already packed. I was up all night. I can't stay in this apartment..I think I'll go to a bar or something.
