Day: Friday
Time: 9PM
Place: Home

I just got home with some groceries. Yes, the apartment is now home. I managed to scrape some money out of my bank account that was there for years. I put up the groceries and thought about what to make for dinner. Hmmm... I'll think about it in the shower.

After a long shower, brushing my teeth and putting on pajamas, I decided on making mac n cheese. Can't ever go wrong with mac n cheese. I started cooking while listening to "Bandz A Make Her Dance" by Juicy J. "All these chicks p-ssies, I'm just poppin' bandz!"

While I was eating, I heard the elevator doors open. I looked towards the doors to see Que😅 walk in with a bag. "What are you doing here? Who's watching the twins?"

Jac: (playful grin) "Sleepover. And don't worry...Bre is watching them tonight."
Toya: (laughing) "Ain't we too old for that? Besides...How do I know you didn't get a girlfriend while I was in."
Jac: (ghetto voice) "No boo. I wouldn't do that."
Toya: (laughing and pointing to the bowl) "Want some?"
Jac: "What is it?"
Toya: "Mac n cheese."
Jac: "Okay."

I rested my bowl down on the coffee table and went into the kitchen.

Jac: "Dayum..." (watching my asz)

"Stop watching my asz!" I scooped up some mac n cheese and gave him some. We ate in the living room. I know what you're thinking... I'm just tired of being angry with him. "So why are you really here?"

Jac: "I told you.."
Toya: "A sleepover, really?"
Jac: "Well (resting the bowl on the table) I miss you."
Toya: "I miss you too."
Jac: "I know.. I'm sorry about the fight and not being there for you. And for the situation with the twins."
Toya: "It's okay... I'm sorry.. I should've listened to you when you told me to stop."
Jac: "Yes you should."
Toya: (laughing) "So where do we stand?"
Jac: (getting up and grabbing my hand)

He lead me into this room that I didn't even know was here. "What's this?"

Jac: "A studio."
Toya: "Que-"
Jac: "Your dream is or was to be a singer. After college things didn't work out so well..That's why you didn't have any real professional clothes for the interview. So I gave it some thought." (sitting at the piano)
Toya: (sitting next to him) "Thank you for all of this, Que."
Jac: "Don't worry about it..Do you know how to play "Ordinary People"?"
Toya: "The one by John Legend? Yeah."
Jac: "Play it."

I started playing it and he wrapped one arm around my waist, pulling me really close to him. He started singing and now I understood why he brought me in here. At the end of the song, I looked up at him. "We're gonna take things slow this time?"

Jac: "Yes. If that's okay with you."

I nodded my head and he kissed my cheek.

Jac: "I'm gonna go take a shower."

He got up and left. I just decided to look around the studio. Some drums, a guitar, a saxophone and a lot of speakers. Nice. I grinned. I looked into a sleek cupboard on the wall and found a PS3 and some games. Oh hell yes! I took them in the master bedroom and set it up.

POV: Jac's
Day: Saturday
Time: 11:50PM
Place: The Apartment

I walked back into the room to see Toya playing MW3. I guess she found the game system. I sat down on the bed and she didn't even notice. She's sitting at the edge of the bed. Next thing I know, she almost falls asleep while playing. I looked at the clock and it's 11:58. Almost her birthday. I got up and turned the game off. I lifted her up and laid her down. I got in next to her and covered us up. "Get some sleep, Toya. I love you."

She turned over and kissed me. Wow... I kissed back though. She pulled away and smiled. I grinned.

Toya: "I love you too."

Two minutes should've been gone.

Jac: "Happy 21st birthday, baby." (kissing her nose)
Toya: (giggling) "Thank you."
