Road Trip (Part 2)

POV: Toya's
Day: Saturday
Time: ?
Place: Hotel Room

I woke up the next morning and was nearly blinded by the sun-light coming through the window. I looked at the clock and it said 9AM. Across from me, Bre was sleeping on the sleeper sofa and Stina was not in her bed. I got up and went into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and looked in the mirror. My bed-head hair was okay. The same curly texture. I sighed..How could he do that to me?

I frowned and walked out of the bathroom and into the kitchen area. Stina talking on her phone. I looked into the fridge to see a bottle of orange juice and some hot pockets. We went to Walgreens late, last night. I warmed up some hot pockets for all of us then went to wake up Bre.

After being slapped by Bre for waking her up...haha..I went back to the kitchen and ate at the counter.

Stina: "That was your mom.."
Tevin: "Oh sh-t. I forgot to call her."
Stina: (sarcasm) "Noooo." (rolling her eyes at me) "She was worried."
Nae: "I'll call her at wherever our next stop is."
Stina: "According to Tevin..It's Greensboro."
Toya: "North Carolina?"
Stina: "Yupp."
Toya: "Oh-Wait. You still talk to Tevin?"
Stina: "Why wouldn't I still talk to Tevin?"
Toya: "Well after he didn't love you and all that."
Stina: "It's cool..The stuff about you and him didn't even bother me."
Toya: "Forreal?"
Stina: "Girl, it's cool."
Toya: "Okay."
Bre: (walking out dressed) "Why ain't y'all ready yet?!"

We got up and went to get dressed.

POV: Jac's
Day: Saturday
Time: 11AM
Place: Outside The Hotel

We're all standing outside by the cars waiting on the girls to come down. I'm standing by Toya's jeep because the twins wanna ride with her. Bre walked downstairs with Toya and Stina behind her. Tevin called Toya over to him and they talked for a couple minutes. Then he gave her a tight hug and kissed her on her forehead. I'm jealous but I know they're only bestfriends. She walked over to me and Stina glared at me. I guess she told them.

Toya bent down to hug the twins and they ran into her arms.

Twins: "TOYA!"

Toya: "Hey babies." (pulling away and standing up)
Alisa: "Daddy said you weren't feeling good yesterday."
Toya: (looking at me) "Oh really?"
Alana: "Yeah! Are you okay?"
Toya: "I'm fine, boo."
Jac: "They wanted to ride with you today."
Toya: "No problem."
Twins: "Yay!"
Stina: "I'll ride with Trey."

Tevin: "I'll ride with Jac because I need to talk to him."

I helped Toya get them settled in their booster seats in her car. She got in with Bre and they sped off. I jogged over to my car and got in with Tevin. I turned on the engine and drove off.

Tevin: "Why'd you do that to Toya?"
Jac: "She didn't even let me explain! That was my cousin, Vanessa! She never listens!"
Tevin: "Why didn't you say that on the spot?"
Jac: "Because she wouldn't listen! I know her! Now I also know she doesn't trust me. Do you really think I'd do that to her again?! I love her too much for that! Why doesn't she trust me?! I know I messed up before but I changed."

POV: Tevin's
Day: Saturday
Time: 11:45AM
Place: Driving

I've never seen him so worked up over a girl. He must really love her. He better love her or I'd whoop his asz in this car and we wouldn't even make a scratch in this car. I sighed. "Mane, just talk to her. She'll come around." He nodded his head and focused on the road. For a second there, I really thought I saw a tear.
